The majority of Muslims in Europe believe Islamic Sharia law should take precedence over the secular constitutions and laws of their European host countries, according to a new study, which warns that Islamic fundamentalism is widespread and rising sharply in Western Europe.
The "Six Country Immigrant Integration Comparative Survey"—a five-year study of Moroccan and Turkish immigrants in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland and Sweden—was published on December 11 by the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, one of the largest social science research institutes in Europe.
According to the study (German and English), which was funded by the German government, two thirds (65%) of the Muslims interviewed say Islamic Sharia law is more important to them than the laws of the country in which they live.
Three quarters (75%) of the respondents hold the opinion that there is only one legitimate interpretation of the Koran, which should apply to all Muslims, and nearly 60% of Muslims believe their community should return to "Islamic roots."

The collapse of the Ottoman Empire. For all its faults, they were a unifying force in the region. With their penultimate implosion in 1926, Arab nationalism and religion became intertwined to a degree no one could have foreseen.
Politics and religion fed each other and ultimately merged to create a mix of political and religious extremism - a Moebius strip of fanaticism. There’s far more reasons than that; the Iranian Revolution of 1979, the seizure of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca by a would-be “Mahdi” and the foolish way the Saudis reacted to in the aftermath, the various Arab defeats at the hands of the Israelis, the list goes on and on.
But I’d say the collapse of the Ottoman Empire is the triggering event that started a century of unrest in the region, which has spread. Folks in the Middle East have long, long memories - they may forgive from time to time, but they never forget; a grievance from 150 years ago may as well have happened last month.
An observation on my part; the current Islamic year is 1435. Where was Europe in 1435? Europeans were fighting religious wars until the conclusion of the Thirty Years’ War in 1648. So......they have a ways to go yet until they chill out, and I’m pretty sure they will. Endless internecine warfare is not a practical solution, and the Islamic world will figure that out eventually.
I’ve been saying for many years now, perhaps a decade, that I expect I will see concentration camps in Europe in my lifetime.
The only question is Who will be running them?
I’m not at all happy to be making that prediction. I am but a realist.
What has changed? There are more of them. Read this, and you will understand. It’s just what Muslims do.

Muslims will not be running them.
They behead their captives unless they are good for ransom, either monetary or political.
I’ll never understand how anyone could support this. Half of this country are willing to leave their kids and grandkids a world where they will become muslims or be beheaded.

Most of that (alarming) number (if true) would actually be more from Eastern European parents rather than Asian/ME muslim parents. The biggest influx to the UK in recent years has been from Poland and E Europe, and its going to get worse from next year.
Well duh. That’s what happens when you actively recruit immigrants from Muslim cesspools and ship them in by the millions, give them welfare, and don’t insist on them adopting the local language and culture. Stupid liberals.
