I've got to believe that in places like Texas, once a LEO enforces a law like this he can never go home.

A Texas legislator would have to first propose the law, then both houses would have to pass it. A Texas Governor would then have to sign it before any LEO was ever forced to even consider enforcing such a heinous tyranny upon Texans.

Ain't never gonna happen.

It may be a bit of a bad analogy, but remember what the feds did to Waco.
