A Texas legislator would have to first propose the law, then both houses would have to pass it. A Texas Governor would then have to sign it before any LEO was ever forced to even consider enforcing such a heinous tyranny upon Texans. Ain't never gonna happen.

It may be a bit of a bad analogy, but remember what the feds did to Waco.
Think about it.

Looking back, I think that Texans were so caught off guard by the Waco thing, they didn't know how to react. When they did get to their feet, it was too little, too late.

I think Ann Richards was also Governor at the time, which means there would have been full cooperation from her administration with the feds.

That incident hardened Texans to the modern federal government. I highly doubt they could pull something like that off here again.
