CONNECTICUT GUN OWNERS WAIT IN LINE TO DO SOMETHING MANY GUN OWNERS HOPE THEY NEVER HAVE TO

Connecticut residents waited in long lines on Thursday to register their firearms and high-capacity magazines before the state’s new gun laws go into effect on Jan. 1, 2014.

WFSB-TV reports that a “long-line of people” stood outside the Public Safety Building in Middletown, Conn., all day to register semi-automatic rifles and high-capacity magazines. Several residents were upset with the “unconstitutional” requirement, while at least one person didn’t appear to mind.

“I understand why they’re doing it, but I don’t think it’s constitutional,” resident Scott Boccio told WFSB-TV as he was registering his guns.

Charles Gillette, who was registering magazines, told the news station that he would have a problem with it if the state was trying to ban the magazines or firearms, but said “if they want to just know where they are, that’s fine with me.”

However, not one gun owner who was registering firearms or magazines said they think the new laws will reduce gun violence.

“If people are going to do things illegally, they’re not going to be here registering their gun,” Jared Krajewski, another resident registering firearms, said.

For now, in Connecticut, the law is the law. The new gun control measures were put into place following the tragic school shooting in Newtown, Conn.

State police Lt. Paul Vance said that gun owners must fill our forms completely and some may require a notary.

But the best thing about it - works from both sides of the door.

Hard to believe. Even with his philandering and everything else, at least he DID serve in the military, and by all accounts tried to do his job.

He would not be welcome in the Democrat party today, they have gone so far left it is nearly incomprehensible to me.

It is the radicals of the Sixties who did this.

“For now, in Connecticut, the law is the law.”

Unconstitutional decrees are null and void. This is illegal.

What would you have us do? Start shooting? How do you think would work out?

A simple REFUSAL to register would've been enough. Now that you've REGISTERED, they know what you have, and know they can disarm you.

So you'll be WORTHLESS when the revolution starts. You'll be disarmed. Nothing more than cannon fodder for the State of CT.

The state government of Connecticut is merely assembling its list of future confiscations.

Bears repeating. Over, and over, and over again!

I swear there are no men left in CT ... just a bunch of metro-sexual, henpecked eunchs that can’t control their women, children or government

You have to admit it's no picnic for men to control children or government when there are more women to vote than men.

“I understand why they’re doing it, but I don’t think it’s constitutional,” resident Scott Boccio told WFSB-TV as he was registering his guns.

I wonder ... will he understand why they're doing it:

- When they're confiscating his bank account to redistribute his wealth? Afterall, Obama said fixing wealth disparity was his #1 goal in his secon term.
- When he's denied health-care because he voted for the wrong political party?
- When his home is confiscated, because he doesn't need all those rooms?
- When he's told he's too fat, and has to eat what the Government gives him (or does NOT give him?)
- When his children are taken away to re-education camps because Daddy doesn't agree with the Proliteriat?

Yeah, this list can go on, and on, and on...

Obviously his stint in the re-education camps is successful by Government standards.

Not registered. Ordered confiscated by the military governor so that the inhabitants of the rebellious city of Boston could not raise their hands in defiance to His Sovereign Majesty, George III, King of Great Britain, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

My, my, my, how times have changed, when we see how the heavily militarized thug cops & swat teams marched Bostonians out of their houses at gun point during the Boston Marathon bombing. Any resisatance & you would see armored vehicles smashing right through their houses. We now live in a Gestapo/Staci police state, run by the elitists (0dumb0shit, demoCRAPs & RINOs). God help us..... we need a great bloody battle civil war II if we are to ever restore & regain our country.

What do think all those nice MRAPS the DHS has passed out to all the agencies could be used for? No 2x4 cross bar would stand up to that.

I've got to believe that in places like Texas, once a LEO enforces a law like this he can never go home.

A Texas legislator would have to first propose the law, then both houses would have to pass it. A Texas Governor would then have to sign it before any LEO was ever forced to even consider enforcing such a heinous tyranny upon Texans.

Ain't never gonna happen.
