Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr. is speaking out against Phil Robertson, star of A&E’s reality show “Ducky Dynasty,” claiming that Robertson’s comments to GQ reflect “white privilege.”
Jackson even compared Robertson to the bus driver who ordered Rosa Parks to move to the back of the bus in a statement obtained by ABC News:
“These statements uttered by Robertson are more offensive than the bus driver in Montgomery, Alabama, more than 59 years ago”
Jackson went on to state that,
“At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law. Robertson’s statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was ‘white privilege.’”
According to ABC, Jackson is urging A&E to uphold Robertson’s suspension and requests an urgent meeting with A&E and Cracker Barrel executives.

I guess if a race or category of people in truth were less than, infrerior in their genetics, they would need a strong man, like Jesse Jackson to come and liberate them. But it seems that he is keeping them in chains, and validating their inferior class by all of this saber rattling. Is there a white dude that comes to the front and protects the skin of a lighter color? I wish more blacks would dump the image that Jesse Jackson has portrayed, HE is the underdog for sure, but he chose that title, and is the champion race baiter of all times.
For the record Phil Robertson also mentioned something
about the status of pre-civil rights African Americans
in the GQ interview. I assume that is what got Jackson
going.
I hear Jackson is demanding to meet w/A&E execs and wants
execs from Cracker Barrel to be at that meeting. If they
had any balls they would demand that Jesse seek a prior
meeting with Phil Robertson.
An URGENT meeting? Lord, during this season help me not to hate Jesse Jackson. Once that is completed we can work on the rest.

Nope, Phil mentioned something about the status of
pre-ENTITLEMENT
African Americans.
Now, unless you equate gettin’ a check from the gubmint
with “civil rights”,
anyone who conflates the two is being dishonest.
One thing that actually COULD be “white privilege” is the first impression someone has when meeting you in certain situations.
Honestly, the question “what is the likelihood that this person will hurt me or rob me?” will have a different answer based on the unknown person’s ethnicity.
It’s a matter of real statistics. Don’t like that people who look like you are treated with more suspicion?
Change the reason that they are.
Whatever, my point was that there was a race related
element to Phil’s GQ interview that apparently drew
attention from Jackass.
And my point is that the race baiters on the left are asserting things that Phil never said.
