So sad.
Have a “Gay Winter Holiday” cards get right through...
We Are Sooooooo Screwed...
>>"I told him my students made cards, we'd like to bring them down for the veterans," Chapman told the television station. "And he said, 'That's great. We're thrilled to have them, except the only thing is, we can't accept anything that says Merry Christmas' or God bless you' or any scriptural references because of all the red tape.'"
>>A VA official quoted the policy which is in the Veterans Health Administration handbook...The cards will not be thrown away -- they are being shipped to Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio and to a private facility for veterans in Louisiana.
Another violation of the First Amendment by the Federal government.
That’s awful. The VA and their cohorts are treating our wounded military worse than imprisoned criminals. It SHOULD NOT BE!
There is an administrator.
Name him ( or it).
Address and phone number.
Hound this slime until he (it) commits suicide.
I kiddeth not.
At all.
The inmates at Gitmo get their Korans and prayer rugs, though.

Jack Pettit comment:
>>Who was the person at the VA Dallas that told the kids their cards wouldn’t pass muster no God bless you, no religious references, not even a Merry Christmas are allowed. Is the allegation by WDFW not true?
VA N. Texas Health Care system reply:
>We did not deny any donations, especially from students. The process to review religious donations was not communicated fully. Please read the article for our official statement.
Kenneth Zech comment:
>I understand you have returned Christmas cards sent by kids to disabled veterans. Merry Christmas, Mr. Scrooge.
>>A spokesperson for the VA clarified the policy Monday, which is in the Veterans Health Administration handbook, by stating the following:
---------------
"In order to be respectful of our Veterans religious beliefs, all donated holiday cards are reviewed by a multi-disciplinary team of staff led by Chaplaincy services and determined if they are appropriate (non-religious) to freely distribute to patients. After the review is complete, the holiday cards that reference religious and/or secular tones are then distributed by Chaplaincy Service on a one-on-one basis if the patient agrees to the religious reference in the holiday card donation. The holiday cards that do not contain religious and/or secular tones are distributed freely to patients across the Health Care System. We regret this process was not fully explained to this group and apologize for any misunderstanding."
-------------------------------
However, on Tuesday, the director of the VA North Texas Health Care System released the following statement:
"First, we would like to state that the VA greatly appreciates donations made by students and organizations on behalf of our Veterans and we will always accept cards for our patients who celebrate Christmas. We would like to clarify the process though in which VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) handles religious/spiritual donations. All forms of holiday donations are received every year and recorded through Voluntary Services. A multi-disciplinary team led by Chaplaincy services reviews holiday cards and determines if the cards contain religious/secular material within them and in the event they do - our Chaplains distribute them by asking patients on a one-on-one basis if they will accept a holiday card with religious references.
Our Veterans enlisted in the military with the understanding they may be called to fight for our freedoms. One of those freedoms is our freedom to practice a religion of our choice free of persecution. As a federal agency that provides health care to our Nation's Veterans, it is our duty to uphold and respect the fact that our Veterans are from all faiths and backgrounds and we must honor their sacrifices by making sure we approach religious donations through highly trained VA Chaplains and seek patient approval before distribution.
Happy Holidays! (emphasis mine--rr)

That would make my day !
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
if this story ias true, we are doomed......for any government official to refuse there greetings is the end of the line....if they don’t reverse their decision, it is time to physically overthrow them....and as effeminate as they have become, how hard could that be???
Here's a clue Einstein:
If they're not Christian, they don't need to get a Christmas Card. Why should the non-Christian veterans care?
We know in Revelation a person had to have a mark or they couldn't buy or sell. What are the people forced to buy now and if they don't buy it, they are penalized over and over until they buy it. If they still refuse, what will happen to them? We don't know yet.
Hussein may not be the antichrist but I believe he is the disciple of him and before he is through, no one can buy or sell unless he has whatever mark Hussein comes up with. Right now, you have to have Hussein's insurance card or you are guilty of the crime of not getting one.
Where is YOUR insurance card? Show it to me or off to jail with you which may be the next penalty for not getting one. SHOW ME YOUR INSURANCE CARD, CITIZEN.
No Tulane, it’s not sad, it’s frigging pathetic, and I will be calling the VA tomorrow morning. This BS has got to STOP.
Okay, SOME of the Vets ain’t Christians, but I’m sorry, and I know this BECAUSE I’m a Vet. Your Religion is listed on your records. Is the VA saying their dumba$$’s can’t READ?
I’m sick to the death of crap like this, and sicker still that I’m gettin’ this plain darn MAD on Christmas Eve.
