In order to be respectful of our Veterans religious beliefs, all donated holiday cards are reviewed by a multi-disciplinary team of staff led by Chaplaincy services and determined if they are appropriate (non-religious) to freely distribute to patients.

Here's a clue Einstein:

If they're not Christian, they don't need to get a Christmas Card. Why should the non-Christian veterans care?

Even further — what Christian wounded soldier would not smile when receiving a child’s hand made Hanukkah card (although it might not apply this year)?

Even a kwaaanzaaa card would be appreciated for the spirit given and not the ignorance of a mentally abused child.

This is just PC taken to the point where the soldiers are getting hurt by the withholding of true acts of generosity and kindness.

Hey, RockLobster. We Jews love to get Christmas cards as well as Chanukah cards. My son’s a combat veteran of Iraq and he gets them. It’s nice to hear from friends.

By the way, we did have a role in the originations of Christmas. One of our guys did well in the world.

However, I do not accept Quonset Hut cards.
