SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A federal judge has allowed gay marriage in Utah to continue.
Judge Richard Shelby on Monday denied a request by the state that sought to halt gay marriage until the appeals process plays out.
The same judge overturned Utah's ban on same-sex marriage Friday, ruling it is unconstitutional.

What’s the next move. Will the higher court hear the stay now?

I don’t know. Judges overturning the will of the people was ok’ed by the Supremes. However the Supreme court cannot FORCE states to abide by their rulings as per Madison and Jefferson.

Thursday it was New Mexico, Friday it was Utah, and today Ohio.
These Judicial Tyrants must be stopped by impeachment or by the House GOP refusing to fund the federal court system until all judges agree to not endorse gay marriage.

Whats the next move. Will the higher court hear the stay now? What should the next move be? The governor of Utah and local officials refusing to enforce the ruling.
It's time to put an end to this sort of judicial tyranny.

It isn’t a government of the people, by the people, for the people anymore. Radical, America-hating activists are running the show now. If they don’t like it, the American people can shove it. It isn’t their government anymore.

Whats the next move. Will the higher court hear the stay now? The next step is for Gov. Herbert to nullify the ruling, announce that the judge has no jurisdiction over such matters in Utah, and order every clerk to cease and desist issuance of same-sex 'marriage' certificates.
If he doesn't do exactly what I said above, then Utah is no longer a sovereign state of the Republic.

Not in a totalitarian socialist society. Our Parents and Grandparents were asleep at the wheel when socialists were entrenching themselves. It’s going to take a lot of angry Americans to stop this and apathy rules.

"These Judicial Tyrants must be stopped by impeachment or by the House GOP refusing to fund the federal court system until all judges agree to not endorse gay marriage."Or by the states just simply telling the feds to go to hell. It's long past time for the states to band together and remind DC who made who. I'm surprised Utah is being so sheepish about this. They need to reach deep and find their inner Texas.

The thing that really irritated me was the news banner across the bottom of Fox News’ screen of Sunday that read that Utah had become the 18th state to legalize same sex marriage, when in fact, the exact opposite had occurred. One activist judge, legislating from the bench, and one dem SL county attorney general, saying he would issue licenses. Not all counties are issuing licenses. I expect blatant propaganda from the alphabets, but Fox jumped right on board this time.

Despite the ballyhoo about Fox they are not conservative. They just report truthfully now and then.

So much for all the libs talk about Democracy and Democratic principles, it shows that when they cant get Americans to agree with them on any issues that they will just force it on us by liberal judicial rule.
