The base chapel at the home of the Army's 82nd Airborne Division and the Green Berets is opening to same-sex ceremonies.
Maj. Daniel Toven and Johnathan Taylor celebrated their marriage Saturday in the 1930s-era Main Post Chapel on Fort Bragg with more than 100 family members and friends. The pair married in Washington, D.C., in August. North Carolina law bars gay marriage.
The service is believed to be the first for a same-sex couple at Fort Bragg since the repeal of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy in 2011.
"For me, it was my hope that someday before I retired that I might see the repeal of 'don't ask, don't tell,' " said Toven, who joined the Army in 2003. "This? I never imagined in a million years. It's a dream come true."
Toven, 44, is commander and conductor of the Army Ground Forces Band at Fort Bragg. Taylor, 24, is a registered nurse in a Fayetteville-area hospital and a pre-med student at Fayetteville Technical Community College and Methodist University.

(5) Chaplains, at their discretion, may perform marriage ceremonies for authorized personnel upon request and in accordance with the laws of the State or country where the marriage is to take place. Chaplain participation in marriage preparations and ceremonies is in keeping with individual conscience and distinctive faith requirements. Chaplains may perform marriage ceremonies for DOD military personnel overseas in compliance with all applicable civil law requirements of the host nations, Army regulations, and any other military command directives.
So I guess in the Obama Army, regulations and law are totally fungible.
Keep this in mind, people. This is not merely a homosexual agenda issue...the military flaunting law and regulation is a truly dangerous precedent.
I’d like to think we can recover from Obama but our enemies aren’t going to wait around while we get our act together.

I hope someone will wipe away this desecration before the chapel is used by real Christians.

INTRODUCTORY SERVICES AND VESPERS
The Consecration of the Church begins on the Eve of the celebration with a short Prayer Service honoring the memory of Martyrs. The Vespers, a very joyous celebration follows, and many Priests participate in it to share in the joy of the coming event.
On Sunday Morning the order of services is: Matins (Morning Prayer), the Consecration Service and the first Divine Liturgy in the newly consecrated Church.

For example, China and Russia looking to soon make moves. Russia on a few of its former Soviet satellite states, China on US allies Taiwan, Japan and perhaps the Philippines. This besides the obvious Iran, North Korea, and general islamo-nazi terrorist threats. Meanwhile Obama and the other leftists in the demonRat party are undermining our military with embarrassing crap like this.
At the same time, satanic services are not permitted in military chapels, because they are by definition a desecration of the holy space used by others. This is written chapel procedure.
At a minimum, I would conduct a re-consecration of that holy space after every desecrating service held in it. I would make it apparent by the visible sprinkling of water.
It would be in my opening prayer and act: “Lord, we consecrate again this Holy place to true use by Your true people.” And, since it’s a worship service, my words could not be censored. Not that they couldn’t find a way eventually to move such a chaplain out, but I would insist.
And every believing chaplain should do the same. My sense is that many, many of our commanders would support such a chaplain.
They showed the story on our local news last night with the two guys kissing. Made me want to puke. Remember the military recently removed a Nativity from a base. I can’t believe this is America.
It no longer is.
Its no longer a Chapel but just another building used to create the myth that God has blessed the wicked.
The next ceremony should involve gasoline and a match. They can rebuild it pink with faabulous draperies.

Yes it is truly disgusting and demoralizing to many of us who share fond memories of Ft. Bragg to read this. Earlier this year I about puked after reading about some gay male officer’s partner demanding to join one of the officer’s wives club’s at Bragg. This last act totally rules out any return visit to even the Smoke Bomb Hill area as I feel these people degrade the streets and even areas named after some men I knew. The despot the ignorant elected has created a serious derogation of our military.
How revolting. This SOB has changed the face of America and our military in five years. These progressives are commies who hate America. Of all the rotten tricks, they turn our nation’s military in an abomination. I never saw a man who did not have serious religion when the bullets and the heavy crap flew. These jerks will not cut it in the Airborne Infantry much less SPECOPS there.
Well, some of the republic chose suicide. Some of us will still fight the good fight. (I hope)
