Robertson who made his fortune from inventing and manufacturing hunting equipment before finding TV stardom went on: We are a bunch of rednecks from Louisiana, but I am not uneducated, I have a degree from Louisiana Tech. 'But this week I have been called an ignoramus. This week I have been asked, "Is this the first time you have brought up sin?" I said, "Are you kidding? I have been traveling to and fro spreading this message." 'Then he said, "Well do you invite yourself to go and get your Bible and tell people what you are now sharing with us." I said, "No they are inviting me."

Where it goes from here, IMHO, is for people to start remembering their rights. The “freedom of speech” defense will be used a lot more often, to the detriment of so-called “hate speech” rules. (Read the Fourth Amendment in the Bill of Rights then try reading any story about the NSA scandal.)
We’re digging in our heels and Phil is a good man to rally around.
I have found a couple of pastors on the net who ‘tell it like it is’...
Phil. Right on. Don’t back down.
Phil Robertson wasnt saying any more than what God says in the Bible. See this one section in Romans 1 ...
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible manand birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,
30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;
32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
THAT would certainly be dynamite to LGBT-types ... :-) ...
Im sure they are foaming at the mouth at this part ...

I thought it was Willie who had the MBA and took the thing large
He was outside, wearing full camo and calling a duck, why the snicker? Lindsay Vaughn was on it too
they are all afraid, you are right, they say what their lemmings want to hear and fear to offend their richer members, the preachers worship the dollar too
Si is the only adult Robertson on the show who does not have a college degree, including the wives. I do believe Willie has been the CEO and took the brand large since Phil retired. Phil has referred to Willie on the show as the "guy that deals with the money."
Something about advertising underwear makes me snicker. I do a lot of laundry. Who's Lindsay Vaughn?
She is the skier who is trying for a comeback and (idiotically) dates Tiger (cheater) Woods
I do a lot of laundry too, but under armour sells shirts jackets etc as well as stuff that kept my little football guy warm under his jersey :)
Warm underthings are important.
As I’ve said on other threads, I admire the Robertsons’ ability to make a buck. That is, a whole lot of bucks! I may even get a bottle of Duck Commander wine, since I have to go to Walmart again because we’re out of bananas and yogurt again.
But all they are asking for is a little tolerance.
Thank you!
there are not many forum where posting the New New New A and E promos woiuld be welcomed but this is far from the enemy camp
A&E is going to end up with a new CEO. You don’t take over a company and in 6 months loose the #1 show in the history of cable television. When this all “dies down”... she’ll be out the door.
Duck Commander needs to own a cable television network. A&E would be a good one to buy.
Phil attended Louisiana Tech University where he played football, but turned down an opportunity to play professionally with the Washington Redskins. He received a master’s degree in education and spent several years teaching.
