I expected this would happen.

I still think A&E may back down as Cracker Barrel did this morning.

Even if they do, A&E will just figure out some other way to sabotage the Robertsons.

I hope they get clear of A&E and let them sink under the weight of their own hubris.

Daystar is a Christian broadcasting network on cable and satellite TV. I believe their site is Daystar.com.

Their stars are Marcus and Joni Lamb.

They have a variety of Christian oriented programming.

From what I’ve seen, they have no commercial advertising, except promos for their own shows on their own network.

Daystar... appropriate. I think it looks like the rednecks are going to win this one.

Also..

If A&E is unable to resolve its dispute with the cast of Duck Dynasty, Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne is prepared to use his influence among Louisiana's growing motion picture industry to seek out alternative production options.

Didn’t the Gov of LA say they can fully set the Robinsons up?

I disagree. Preaching to the choir isn’t the answer. They need to stay on a regular networks so more than just Christians will watch.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 20, 2013 – Just days after Phil Robertson’s biblical beliefs regarding homosexuality were made public; Daystar has extended an offer to air “Duck Dynasty” during primetime hours.

“My wife, Joni, and I are standing with Mr. Phil Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” for family values and biblical values,” says Marcus Lamb, Founder and CEO of Daystar Television Network. “Our American constitution guarantees its citizens freedom of speech and freedom of religion. As a result, Daystar Television Network is offering a primetime slot to “Duck Dynasty”.”

Daystar stands with Phil Robertson, and believes that Christianity should not be shut out of the media conversation. If A&E refuses to recognize Phil Robertson’s personal Christian beliefs, then he, along the rest of the Duck Dynasty family, is welcome on Daystar.

Daystar Television Network is an award winning, faith-based network dedicated to spreading the Gospel 24 hours a day, seven days a week – all around the globe, through all media formats possible, reaching over 104 million households in the United States and over 2 billion people worldwide. Daystar is the fastest growing faith-based television network in the world.

Agree, and in fact I would hope FOX would step up and offer them a spot. That way it would reach just about everyone.
