On Sunday, just two days after announcing it would be pulling some Duck Dynasty products featuring Phil Robertson from its stores, Cracker Barrel announced that it had reversed itself and would reinstate all Duck Dynasty products. In an announcement via Twitter, Cracker Barrel wrote:

Cracker Barrel is a major sponsor at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. This type of pandering is not going to sit well with the God-fearing folks that frequent that establishment. They could be in danger of losing that very lucrative relationship ala Dixie Chicks.

The ABC article sights "Cracker Barrel's reversal of its former position was posted this morning to Facebook, following a flurry of negative responses from customers and fans who showed support to the patriarch of the "Duck Dynasty" family." That's kind of like saying the Rodney King LA riots represented a "flurry" of discontent regarding the verdict in the trial of the officers involved.
From the tone of the article, ABC seems to be tying itself into knots - trying to placate the GLAAD types while reluctantly acknowledging the truth, which is their side has been maneuvered into a lose/lose situation and have been outplayed by a 67 year old duck hunting "redneck", former LSU quarterback (...with a masters degree and a boatload of money.)
ABC is not happy, happy, happy.

Many people would be amazed to learn how many of these truly abominable decisions are made by women. Just as the presence of women cops is a major cause of the uptick in police discharging their firearms.

The negative reinforcement was the storm of emails, tweets, and facebook posts condemning Cracker Barrel (an unpleasant stimulus, applied continuously) which should now be stopped now that the desired behavior (reinstating Phil Robertson imaged products for sale) is displayed.

Read on another thread that the owners are Democrats. I have to conclude that the decision wasn’t knee-jerk, but completely reflected their ideology. The reversal was purely about the $$$. That makes them sell-outs....not to the Robertsons, but to their Democrat party and the beloved homosexual mafia.
