I don’t think our side is misinterpreting the liberal viewpoint at all. I think we have a deep understanding of where the other side is coming from and we don’t like it. I see it more of a battle of good versus evil lifestyles, based on traits exhibited by the left. Licentiousness, constant lying about things big and small, a fascist, socialist ideology to justify their lifestyle, a petty, bureacratic mindset based on rules and regulations on those issues they favor and choose to enforce, lots of narcissistic personalities more interested in their own petty interests over that of the country, a lack of true patriotism for this country along with a blame America first mentality. Where are we going wrong here? We aren’t.
We are losing touch with God and that’s why we aren’t winning. (We’re sinning, but not winning.)
That is a ball squarely in our court. God won’t shove His blessings down throats that refuse to swallow them.

You’re exactly right and through Phil Robertson we’ve been told that we can’t even say anything about it. We’re not to even speak of right and wrong. References to long established value systems are not allowable.

If most comments were similar (the opposite if anger and name-calling)...FR would be beyond any sort of reproach. That is the type comment I seek mining FR daily.

Your post 4 encapsulates why we need to get into this fight.
Innocent lives are at stake. we value the individual; the secular humanists value the State, both as a hammer for compliance and as a fount for their value system.
Isaiah chapters 1-10 depict where America is right now and where we are heading unless our course is corrected by a return to God and His Word as a nation.
When holding views that 40 years ago and 400 years ago were the norm (homosexuality is unnatural, unhealthy, abnormal) are now a sin worth banishment from the public sphere if not firing from a job, loss of a business or suspension from school for “bullying” - something radically changed. And it is the progressive elite in power, not the average people.
But revolutions become more likely when the leadership is radically different from the general population, because they are no longer seen as legitimate or “one of us”.
The Duck Dynasty case is classic because what he said is in print, the reaction by the TV show was public and there’s no he-said-she-said. He didn’t call for the execution of gays like Iran actually carries out, only saying that normal guys prefer women and it is a sin in his religion. If that is absolutely verboten, whereas saying the opposite 50 years ago landed you in a psyche ward, the problem is the world-view of those in charge.
And his case is confirmation that the over-reactions of a child suspended for calling another gay or one adult fired over an LBGTA person’s behavior aren’t one off instances. The overwhelmingly positive response by liberal media to his firing and calling his statements hate PROVE the abuse of the term “hate” to shut down all views not 100% supportive of homosexual lifestyle. The demand to change his tagline to “gay, gay, gay” from “happy, happy, happy” to say you can continue if you repent and get co-opted are another.
You are no longer allowed by those in charge to publicly proclaim the non-PC view without consequences. And the Duck Dynasty case is public proof for the world to see, vindicating the suspicions of millions who’ve seen small case after small case.
