I have...both on their web-site and at their Facebook page. We were all set to go there today, but I much prefer exercising my hunger and thirst for righteousness’ sake than to satisfy my physical hunger with their “comfort” food.
.......I don’t get your conclusion. If I am the CEO of the Cracker Barrell, and all things were rockin on “normal”, I should be fired for doing “ANYTHING” to potentially alienate half the American Population in fell swoop.
The “right” thing, or the “smart” thing, on the other hand, if your so concerned about a duck call being sold in your store, is to VERY quietly, after the storm, remove that selected merchandise from your shelves and if any nosy presser inquires just call it “normal inventory adjustments”.
With due respect to you and your argument, I think the man is an idiot for needlessly involving his company in this controversy and potentially costing his company millions.

I know it's hard to believe the vast majority of middle class blacks, the ones who eat at CB, don't drive past a CB and think "racism"...
They are probably thinking bacon !
Most Blacks around here think CB is racist and that they won't be served properly.

More inanity. There would be no (ZERO, ZIP, NADA) political statement being made at all (either way) if CB had left the merchandise on the shelves and their patrons came in as usual to dine/buy. No cameras, no press, no media coverage. Just a bunch of families, elderly, conservative, church-going, redneck-types, etc. doing what they always do at Cracker Barrel. Nothing to see here; move along.
They’ve initiated all that (to the degree it will occur) by withdrawing the DD products from the shelves.
Cracker Barrel is a little racist anyway. Sounds like a white guy holding a gun.
On another note - tried this morning to purchase t-shirts and caps from Duck Commander and it’s so busy they couldn’t process my order. Have to try again later.
I would seriously LOVE to know what their sales have been over the last few days.
I’ve eaten in Cracker Barrel several times and have been very unimpressed. I don’t see what the big deal is and I’ll be happy to have a good reason not to go there again.

This would be the same Cracker Barrel which created a fuss by saying they would not hire homosexuals a couple of years ago?
Why would they stomp on their own target customer base?
That doesn’t make any sense.
My wife and I had lunch in one of their stores in Georgia and were admiring the rocking chairs on sale that had Military Insignia on them. We wanted one with a US Air Force seal but there were none available. We decided to purchase one from one of two stores in our area. Today was the day. Changed our mind on the purchase and won't be eating at any of their restaurants, which are more than half store, from now on.
Stupid move is more like it. It is a matter of not tolerating another’s right to free speech. I also think that Phil's views are correct.
You called him "president" . . . he isn't qualified to be our president . . . he is a foreigner . . . he resides in our White House with his prayer rug, his homo boyfriend, Reggie Love, and rather homely and portly wife.
