Can we get this straight somehow? Every time I read a story about this, it is misrepresented. Fact is - if you asked Phil, he would say that EVERYONE is a sinner, because that’s what Christians believe. Phil never said being homosexual was a sin, he said homosexual BEHAVIOR was a sin, just like beastiality is, adultery is, fornication is and several other non-sexual sins he listed. That is biblical.
Phil would say that blacks and jews are sinners - because they are. Can Phil say that the predatory behavior prevalent in many inner cities is sin? That fathering children and not taking care of them - is that sin?
I have to admit that some of the programs that I like the most are on the History Channel. I do not, however, know the degree of reality in programs such as Pawn Stars, and The Pickers.

Pawn Stars is a fun show and has some really interesting merchandise being pawned. I watch it every chance I get.
However, there’s not a whole bunch of reality there. If you’re that interested, search on Youtube. Also ask yourself when all those folks that walk through the door got fitted with body mics.
At least it’s more subtle than Hardcore Pawn. Again, consider when those people that “spontaneously” go into a rage against not only staff but each other got fitted with mics.

Their rights were not being violated. They still have their jobs.
They were offended.
There is no law, neither should there be, that protects you from being offended.
Meanwhile, Phil Robertson’s rights were violated, because he was punished by his employer for the free exercise of his faith, and that not even on company time.
I’m convinced that this whole thing boils down to Nancy Dubuc and a bunch of pro-gay groups [I had never heard of her until a few hours ago].
But Dubuc agrees the decision to suspend Phil was made on an early morning phone call with execs from GLAAD.
This makes mw re-think how this is going to end.

Yes, I once did a search on Yahoo. There is a lot of info from people that have been to that store. Many say it is fake.
I just wonder if the stars/actors are the real owners of the store. I do agree, it is fun, and I assume that the historical info is real.

How many employees are we talking about vs. how many viewers? Seems to me there would be a helluva lot more viewers than gay employees. What successful business would sacrifice profits from its customer base in order to please a handful of potentially disgruntled employees? Sure, you want happy employees, but when it comes down to a choice, a successful company will choose to keep its customers happy.
I don’t know what business school this chippy went to, but it seems she didn’t learn anything about common sense business practices. Or she skipped that course.
