The most popular reality show in cable television history has sparked a heated national debate, laying bare a national rift over gay rights and free speech and prompting politicians, entertainers and ordinary folks to enter the cultural fray.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, as well as former GOP presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin, have all come to the defense of 'Duck Dynasty' star Phil Robertson, whose statements condemning homosexuality angered many and earned him an "indefinite suspension" from the A&E network. With families gathering for the holidays next week, it seems likely 'Duck Dynasty' will dominate many dinner table debates.
What won't be as clear is whether the hit show will go on. A statement from the Robertson family released late Thursday raised doubts about the Louisiana clan's willingness to continue after comments from patriarch Phil Robertson triggered an uproar.
“We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm,” the Robertson family said in a prepared statement. “We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty.”
The family said it has “spent much time in prayer” since learning A&E had suspended Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the Louisiana family, over comments he made about homosexuality....

The extreme Left’s war on “American culture” has finally been exposed for all to see.
The issue is Robertson’s “right” to say what he wants without harassment or penalty. A&E doesn’t believe in this right, so we have a standoff. However, the viewers of “Duck Dynasty” are going to enact a very devastating revenge on A&E and DD’s sponsors.
When you have between 8-12 million viewers on the top rated cable show of all time, you have “buying” power and the sponsors of DD realize that.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the first thing they did was to send out for a truckload of “Depends” because they have got to be crapping in their pants right now.
The show lost 4,000,000 viewers yesterday. That says it all. This is not a hemmorhage; it is a flood, and floods wash away much of what is in their paths.
Even O’Reilly got the basic problem wrong. Nobody said that you had to agree with what Phil Robertson said in the QC magazine or in films of him in church.
The issue is HIS RIGHT TO SAY IT WITHOUT HAVING TO SUFFER ECONOMIC REPRISALS” outside of the show (where the company has a right to put some restrictions on what they can say in the context of the show).
I’m not in favor of firing Maher, or Bashir, or Schulz, or Shuster, or Morgan. In fact, I want CNN and MSNBC to keep these blithering leftist ideologues and braindead cadavers on, 24 hours a day if necessary.
They are living (for some that is debatable) examples and proof of the psychological derangement of the Left (they are not liberals; they are hardcore marxists, socialists, narcistic egomaniacs who want to show their mental superiority over the “watching masses”. Seig heil, gals and guys. We saw this before and look at what it led to.
Chick-Fil-A, Hobby Lobby, Duck Dynasty-Robertsons, Paula Deen, etc. They are victims of the Left’s unrelenting war on American culture, traditions, the family, religion, the economic system (which makes a lot of them undeservedly rich (One Percenters and Obama leg-lickers), patriotism, military service/honor, our educational system, and the right to be a free-speaking individual, not a mindless Obamite automaton, marching in lockstep in attempts to suppress the Constitution.
We now have a convergence of several Leftist armies, namely that of the Communists, Marxists, Socialists/Progressives (same thing - Liberals colored Pink), not the old style Liberals), the under-educated, low-educated, welfare addicts, drug addicts, and plantation mentality masses of old.
Obama has promised them, like Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Ho, and Castro, a paradise on earth (Obama’s “fundamental transformation of society), and these uneducated and over-educated fools swallowed his lies, hook, line and sinker.
This marxist subversion and takeover, both above ground (Cloward Piven and Alinsky), and below ground, the Communist Party USA, Castroites, Hanoiniks, and black extremists, has been planned and worked on since the 1930’s, with reenforcements coming in the 1960’s where the Old Left mentored the New Left. Obama’s puppet masters were both old Soviet operatives and CPUSA members/leaders, as well as New Left marxist terrorists from the SDS/Weathermen to the Socialist Scholars Conferences of the 1960’s and 80’s.
Alice Widener wrote about the old SSC in the 1960’s but very few listened. Others like Trevor Loudon, Matthew Vadum, David Horowitz/David Collier, and even former marxist Ron Radosh, have been trying to expose the marxist Left for decades. If it weren’t for the Washington Times, PJ Media, Townhall.com, and a few other websites, none of this information would have seen the light of day.
You know why. The mainstream print media is leftist, and if you analyze their writers, stories, obituaries, and even the social sections, you will find them full of praise for the Left and ridicule for the Conservatives/Right.
Perhaps the Robertsons have done America a favor, and just in time for the 2014 elections. They have exposed the viciousness of the homosexual/Lesbian Left for what it is - totalitarian thought control marxists and hatemongers.
[Most gay people are NOT leftist hatemongers. They want to live their lives in as normal a way as possible - not to be harassed because of who they are, and to be allowed to develop their skills, talents, and relationships as best they can. Unfortunately they are, like Moslems in the US, afraid to speak up against the Leftist hordes because of both physical, economic, and social retaliation and isolation).
We have seen this earlier in the cable network news freaks of Maddow, Schulz, Matthews, Morgan, O’Donnell, Shuster, etc.
Our schools are filled with communists of all stripes, Common Core puppets, spineless administrations, and school boards that have been corrupted through the election of leftists to them.
If the Robertson incident is the actual start of the “Culture War” on many fronts, then let us say to them, “Thank you for exposing this vicious hate, anti-religious bigotry, and thug mentality”. It will be met with total resistance by a now forewarned American public of decent people who have had enough of this Marxist crap.
We are going to take back our nation, our culture, our language, our borders, our educational systems, our economic systems, our emasculated military, our flag, our national anthem, Christmas, our churches and synagogues, our whole national being and essense.
American are good people and we will not let the communists and hate-freaks succeed.

Sarah Palin and her “Mama Bears”, “Soccer Moms”; people who cling to both their guns and their bibles; betrayed veterans of Vietnam, OIF/Afghanistan; the Social Security crowd; the no more medical insurance/doctors they liked crowd; people who are tired of the corruption of Crony Capitalists who give Obama hundreds of millions in bribes (i.e. campaign contributions); fraudulent “green” hucksters who take the money and run; goverment bureaucrats out of control; regulations that are strangling our economy and our constitutional rights; and the hidden puppet masters of the Obama regime.
Those who smell a big red rat at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, are rising up, slowly, often quietly, sometimes with vigor like that of the Tea Party patriots, and “are mad as hell and they aren’t going to take it anymore”.
Japanese Admiral Yamamoto, the planner and leader of the attack on the US at Pearl Harbor, Guam, Wake Island, and the Philippines, said that he feared that “we have awakened a sleeping giant”, and he was right.

I pray Phil Robertson stays in the news for his biblical feelings on gays (would he use that word?). Apparently, GLAAD doesn’t like being reminded of what G-d thinks of homosexual behavior.

My granddaughter is 8 years old and loves “Duck Dynasty” and actually introduced me to it.
We’re both “Sy” guys. He had two combat tours of Vietnam. That’s good enough for me compared to the sissies and cowards in the White House.
Just for the record - some of us Jews aren’t cowards or liberal fools. We’re Old Testament people.
Met a bunch of fellow Jews in Nam and maintain contact with new ones I also met here during the war. We know who Obama’s war is aimed at, and we’re not going to let it become a repeat of the 1930’s. But, but, but....O’Reilly is a Catholic. And he even wrote a book about Jesus. Too bad he doesn’t know his Bible very well. He admonished his viewers tonight that they aren’t supposed to judge, but there is also a caution in scripture that says to be not yoked with unbelievers. Obviously the queers don’t believe that homosexual activity is a sin. This is not a cafeteria where people get to pick and choose which sins they will avoid and which ones simply don’t apply to them.

A documentary film about homosexuality, its practices and its lifestyle should be made along the same lines as the series of films on abortion at this website:
These films are highly professionally made without political extremism or rhetoric. They show the raw reality of what’s behind the scenes that media and government refuse to expose unless prompted by atrocity and only then do media and government do so with reluctance and a will to quickly move it out of public view.
The same is true of homosexual behavior.
But homosexuality is a tougher issue to address because sodomy and other instinctively unnatural practices also extend to perverse heterosexual practices. To expose the reality of homosexuality then requires to expose unnatural sexual practices in all forms including bestiality. All of this provokes a gag reflex among those that have not yet been desensitized. It also opens up for review the hypocrisy of certain heterosexuals.
But as in the 3801 Lancaster documentaries in the link above, the focus should not only be on the horror of the acts but more so in the social fallout and the reaction of media and government. These documentaries are effective not because they show ghastly horrors but because they show government and media promote the ghastly horrors and suppress the voices in opposition to these horrors.
The appropriate reaction of media and government should be to condemn and prosecute these horrors in behavior so that media and government are more closely aligned with natural human instinct. The society would not be confused. But as we know in fact the media and government not only refuse to reflect natural social reaction but are actually promoting the horrors and prosecuting those that oppose the horrors.
I look at abortion and homosexuality as decay of the soul as a result of spiritual disease. Like sewage the remains of this decay need to be cleaned up but not many are willing or capable to clean it up and for those that are willing and capable the media and government are in the way of their cleanup and will actually attack anyone for attempting a cleanup.

And probably not one designer on any of these green scams. Give me a hundred designers of the caliber I’ve been exposed to in my career and I’ll give you 10,000 manufacturing jobs and many more “service” economy jobs that go with that. Keep the government bureaucrats from tying their hands behind their backs and some of the technologies generated would be breathtaking, that’s a promise. You would probably have to lock these guys away though, as soon as a politician found out, their crony capitalist would be there to queer everything they could or outright steal it. I’ve had personal experience with this last part to know that’s true.
Fox News...especially its evening bloc...leans more liberal everyday. Scary is that many conservatives still think Fox News is Conservative...it is not
