"Duck Dynasty" isn't just a smash-hit TV show, it's a merchandising powerhouse.
It's too soon to tell if retailers will pull the clan's products from their shelves after Phil Robertson made homophobic comments in an interview with GQ magazine. However the A&E network did suspend the reality show star.

At 617k likes in half a day, retailers might not want to get involved in this fight.
Would it be possible for them all to quit the show and go over to the Fox Network? Surely they would air the show.
This is a major polarizing event.
There will be winners and losers.
Chose your side carefully, if you must face the public for a living.
They surely have a contract. What they need to do, is have every family member who participates in the show make a statement similar to Phil’s. Then a& e would be in a quandary.
Be careful before you buy any of this merchandise. Another poster was wsarning that the profits do NOT go to the Robertsons but to A&E, the moral cowards who betrayed them. Check carefully.
I predict sales will sky rocket even more!!

From what I’ve seen “Duck Dynasty” is A&E, and “Duck Commander” is the Roberstsons’. I’m sure they get a cut of DD merchandising, but if the goal is to cut out A&E, Duck Commander is the way to go.

I hear ya. I was referring to the Fox Entertainment division though, not the news network though it would be nice to see him in OReilly's timeslot.
Duck Commander proceeds will go to the Robertsons.

Phil Robertson did NOT make "homophobic" comments. Phil Robertson paraphrased a verse in the Bible and explained that homosexuality is errant behavior.
