LOL - yep ‘bad news’ is always unexpected when a dem’s in office.
Next time a Republican's President bad news will be forecast BEFORE it happens then begrudgingly withdrawn... Gotta love the MSM...

Walmart to Open First D.C. Stores Dec. 4 [23,000 people applied for 600 jobs]
==
Many on FR indict the unemployed as lazy and waiting on benefits.
Threads similar to the link above disprove that. People want to work, but they just cannot find jobs.
Similar was going on under the previous administration who frequently claim 'jobs Americans won't do'. When they cracked down on illegals at some meat processing locations in Nebraska, Texas, etc., literally thousands of citizens showed up the next day to apply for the vacated jobs.

A bit surprised myself, companys dumping employees hard the last two weeks, just in time for Xmas.
You are seeing retail companies having a crappy season realizing there ain't no effing way they're gonna meet their sales projections. So the alarms screaming "Abort! Abort" are going off and they're letting seasonal staff go early.

There would be more American beef if the corn raised in the country were used as animal feed instead of Ethanol.

Yeah, but you know the burger was made in the US. ;-)
Actually, the world is so interdependent now that very few actually useful items are made 100% in any country. I’m not a fan of “buy american” anyway. I believe in competitive markets. I’m a fan of buying the highest quality for the right price point, regardless of place of manufacture.
The only caveat is that they are not made by children in prison (or adults).

Just think, yesterday Ben Bernanke was assuring everyone that the U.S. economy was improving to such an extent it was all right to begin turning off the printing presses.
The people who should be most surprised by this unexpected turn of events are the millions of investors who trusted Mr. Bernanke and bought stocks to send the market averages to record highs.

How you interpret that, is up to you all. :D If it's any consolation, I prefer American wines to French. I support Napa and Oregon Pinot Noirs, even though those "American" places are full of left-wing moon-bats!

We have a media, certain groups, and politicians who have made a career out of turning Americans against other Americans. It has become their bread and butter.
They wrote the 1965 Immigration Act purposely to further divide the country, and change the face of America, and bring in those from all over the world like the Russian Commies to further inoculate and infiltrate us with their ideology. Amnesty for millions of illegals is another aspect of their mission of divide.
It seems like every special group has been given protected status (another way to divide us) except those that historically have represented most of America.
