Consumers worried that tight deadlines around the holidays and lingering computer problems could thwart their efforts to secure coverage under President Barack Obama's health overhaul will get extra time to pay, the health insurance industry said Wednesday.
The board of the industry's biggest trade group America's Health Insurance Plans said consumers who select a plan by Dec. 23 will now have until Jan. 10 to pay their first month's premium, instead of a previous New Year's Eve deadline set by the government.

The PAID ObamaCare enrollment numbers must be so embarrassingly low that they are delaying the day of reckoning yet again. Don't be too surprised if we don't hear what the stats are on the PAID ObamaCare enrollments until after the State Of The Union Address. Oh, and I am sticking with my prediction of a couple of weeks ago that the total number of PAID ObamaCare enrollments will be 66,666 although that might be an overestimate.

Ya know how our computers behave themselves for a while than all of a sudden it goes bonkers....
I predict a bonker so big that they have to delete EVERYTHING to date.
Some hacker is going to prove the security is not working!!

I am even sure under contract law that this would be legal. I mean what If I don’t get my car registered on time or I am late with credit card payments

So insurance companies will lose 10 days time value of money and have to pay for services for 10 days on an account receivable that may not ever come in. And, again a so-called passed law is modified at the whim of an unelected group.

So, now besides the ‘resident changing statutory law, an industry group can change law as well?

We already know that NOBODY who signed up on the Federal ObamaCare website has yet made a payment since NO such payment system has even been set up there.

66,666 is my prediction for the total number of PAID (non-medicaid) ObamaCare enrollees. Getting the government to finally release the REAL number will be pulling teeth. I won’t be surprise if they count Medicaid enrollees as ObamaCare enrollees or mere applicants (looky loos who haven’t paid) as enrollees.

#pajamaguy isn’t helping either. People just don’t want to be in the system so they default to doing nothing. Everyone keeps trying to find the “Get an Obamacare check every month” button.

If you own stock in any insurance companies, sell it.
These POS whore have gotten into bed with Fedgov and are part of the reason we are here. They made their bed; they can lie it in. I feel not an iota of regret for the pain an suffering which is about to come their way.

I predict we’ll never hear another number now that Sebelius has called in the special auditor — the numbers will be “held” as “can’t discuss this as it is part of the ongoing investigation.”

So, now besides the resident changing statutory law, an industry group can change law as well? The industry group is simply agreeing to comply with the direct orders of the 'resident.

When the government can tell you to play along or they’ll go to single payer and put you out of business, what choice do they have? And they are some who declined to go on the exchanges, I believe Aetna is one, so they’re not all playing along.

At this point, Aetna is the exception. The rest have gone along because they were told there would be a bottomless pit of taxpayer money upon which they could feed.
Screw them (with the exception of Aetna).

They are breaking the law, as Obama can issue guidance, but that guidance it NOT law.

They are breaking the law, as Obama can issue guidance, but that guidance it NOT law. Of course, they are. And they no doubt know it. But their instructions come from the guy who is in charge of enforcing the law.
And, if they don't do as he wishes, they are subject to retaliatory action that they have no way of defending against.
Isn't that tyranny, you ask? Well, yes, it is...

Obama just keeps running roughshod over the law. They pass a law only for the POTUS to disobey and circumvent. Treasonous.
