As I understand it the “subsidy” comes next year when you pay your taxes.

The people who thought this was going to be free are in for a rude awakening. And the people who thought it was free for others but they wouldn’t have to pay for it are waking up, too.

Actually the subsidy can just go direct from the Feds to the insurance company. The insured will just pay their portion.

I thought the subsidy was going directly to the insurance company. Then the question would be...what if someone gets the subsidy paid but doesn't pay their share? Insured or not? Insurance company money or not?

What a mess.
