Whoo boy. I wonder what would happen if we smashed this thread into one of the Ukraine threads? Would we get a quantum mechanical black hole?

What real Americans NEED to realize now is that the 1789 constitution was a scam, and go back to our first constitution of 1777!!!!!

U.S. Constitution, Article II, section 1: The Executive Power shall be vested in a president of the United States.
The executive authority is ALREADY centralized.
But this is not what Brooks means, of course. He would like to see legislative and judicial powers also vested in the president, because he obviously hasn’t read any history books. Dope!

What America needs now is to not listen to an ahole like David Brooks.

Why does this pants-obsessed nitwit still have job?
Oh, that's right, he's one of Pinch’s boys.
Being an idiot has never hindered anyone’s career at the NYT. In fact, it's practically a prerequisite.

Guys, watch VERY carefully what they’re doing. The media is re-congealing into a hive-mind mentality where they want to push universal power ideas on to the people as “for the common good.”
Liberals ALWAYS telegraph their punches. If this is being bandied in the media, it’s part of a coordinated blitz to soften the blow when it happens.
This is already in the works, mark my words today!

Why do some people want a shooting war? I sure as hell don't. Lead flying all around you is dangerous.

David,
Move to China or Cuba for about 2 years, and tell us how you like your idea then.

“This is a good moment to advocate greater executive branch power because weve just seen a monumental example of executive branch incompetence”
That is like saying because a person is sick and fighting cancer what he needs are more powerful cancer cells.
