U.S. Constitution, Article II, section 1: The Executive Power shall be vested in a president of the United States.

The executive authority is ALREADY centralized.

But this is not what Brooks means, of course. He would like to see legislative and judicial powers also vested in the president, because he obviously hasn’t read any history books. Dope!

Maybe he thinks being President of the federal government is not enough, he wants him in charge of everything?

Either that, his model is that of a third world dictatorship. You give away your freedom with that much power residing unchecked in the executive branch, a magnet for dictators.
