My first thought. This astonishing complexity points to a Creator.

Anyone who thinks all this complex interaction just happened to fall into place through evolution, chooses to believe a delusion.

But how does global warming cause a problem?

Scientists have discovered a second code hiding within DNA. This second code contains information that changes how scientists read the instructions contained in DNA and interpret mutations to make sense of health and disease.

Because they missed this hidden code, right about now all of Monsanto's genetically modified wheat is manifesting a secondary mutation:

The genetic code uses a 64-letter alphabet called codons.

God apparently went with 64-bit addressability. Good future-proofing.

Who is "they"?

'they' would be the scientist who gave credit to evolution in the article.

“A code implies the existence of a coder.” Absolutely. DNA is just a medium used to transmit conplex genetic information. Just like pen and paper is a medium used to transmit complex written information. The complex information never just creates itself by random chance. Ever. Just like you can pour a box of Alpha-bits cereal on the floor for infinity and you will never get the Gettysburg Address spelled out.

When the Creator chose to reveal Himself most explicitly (The same Creator Who said, “Let Us make Man in our own image), He appeared as . . . The Son of Man! “He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” And we all know how well He was received in our midst. Yet to those who believe on His name He gives the right to be His children. These will be raised from the dead, for through faith they are joined to Him; all of them who believed from the beginning.

The world may dismiss genetic code as arbitrary ascriptions produced by the fertile imagination of an evolved creature, but it’s work is ultimately in service to the Creator and those in His service.

By the way they are discovering the way creation works, they are glorifying the creator. Your accusation is childish.

Your post is childish. In the article, they give credit to evolution.

Genesis has God speaking life into existence.

Science has life being “spoken” into existence by DNA codes.

Amazing how those early Hebrew sheep and goat herders got so much right.

So does this put another nail in the coffin to the notion that apes and humans have “nearly” matching DNA?

“Where does this attitude of treating science like the enemy of God come from?”

There are quite a few Freepers who believe “scientists” is synonymous with “athiests”.

Imagine what will be discovered when the known holes for genetic disorders are lined up under this new language.

I view the theory of evolution as one possible explanation of how HE did it.

I normally don't. But when the scientists give the credit to evolution (as the scientists did in this article), then the charge fits.
