There are quite a few Freepers who believe “scientists” is synonymous with “athiests”.
I normally don't. But when the scientists give the credit to evolution (as the scientists did in this article), then the charge fits.

Quite a few scientists and science popularizers believe that also (mainly the loud ones who want attention and get it) and that’s the crux of the problem.
