The White House insisted Wednesday that President Obamas credibility had not been damaged by the botched rollout of Obamacare, despite a series of recent polls showing his diminished standing with the American public.
"I don't think I agree with that conclusion, White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest said of the assertion that fewer Americans trust the president because of broken promises over his signature domestic achievement.
However, a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll found that 54 percent of respondents disapproved of the presidents job performance, driven mainly by the problem-plagued rollout of Obamacare.
Fifty-eight percent of those surveyed said Obamacare was the issue that most affected their perceptions of the president. In comparison, one-fourth of respondents identified the economy as driving their views of Obama.
White House officials believe they have turned the corner on the technical problems with healthcare.gov and counter that more Americans will support the law as they become familiar with the benefits of the Affordable Care Act.
More problematic for the White House than issues with the website, however, is the presidents broken promise that all Americans could keep their insurance plans under Obamacare.
Since Obama apologized for his unmet pledge, polls have shown a continual downward trend in whether Americans find him trustworthy.
Every voter should be required to watch this before the next election.

To the contrary. Nixon resigned.
To the contrary. Nixon resigned.
He, unlike me, only did it once though.
YUP!
Before that, he was living in a state of delusion.
I would be interested in knowing just when you examined him Doctor. Maybe we met in the halls of the White House.
The fact that Nixon didn’t believe how serious Watergate was is a well proven fact. Anymore clever comments?
.” The editors of the newspaper The Chicago Tribune, a publication that had supported Nixon, wrote, “He is humorless to the point of being inhumane. He is devious. He is vacillating. He is profane. He is willing to be led. He displays dismaying gaps in knowledge. He is suspicious of his staff. His loyalty is minimal.” The Providence Journal wrote, “Reading the transcripts is an emetic experience; one comes away feeling unclean.” This newspaper continued, that, while the transcripts may not have revealed an indictable offense, they showed Nixon contemptuous of the United States, its institutions, and its people....

Take out the name Nixon and you think you are reading about Obama.
I agree. OBAMA himself took care of that!
Yes I do as a matter of fact. I knew the man, had an appointment from him and disagree with much of what was written about him. He was anything but humorless, to refute one of your “objective” writers.
