MSNBC is the gift that keeps on giving, serving up propaganda intended to benefit the far left, but which in its absurdity repels people grounded in reality. Now, one of its hosts, Melissa Harris-Perry, already familiar to AT readers for her theater of the absurd political performance art, has played a race card so bizarre that it self-discredits. Real Clear Politics provides a transcript and video here, where you can read and view the entire thing, but here are some highlights:
I want to talk today about a controversial word. It's a word that has been with us for years. And like it or not, it's indelibly printed in the pages of American history. A word that was originally intended as a derogatory term, meant to shame and divide and demean. The word was conceived of by a group of wealthy white men who needed a way to put themselves above and apart from a black man. To render him inferior and unequal and to diminish his accomplishments.
This set-up reveals the theology of MSNBC, where "a group of wealthy white men" plays the same role for progressives that "Satan" plays in certain religious circles. The eternal source of all evil. Of course, the fact that President Obama himself embraced the term when he thought his scheme was going to work is a slight obstacle, but Harris-Perry gets to that a little later:
And so he decided, if you can't beat them, you've got to join them. And he embraced the word and made it his own, sending his opposition a message they weren't expecting -- 'if that's what you want me to be, I'll be that.' Y'all know the word that I'm talking about. Obamacare.

Don’t they have BO on record saying he liked it? I think he repeated it several times during the 2012 campaign.

They played this on Fox this morning
It really has to be seen to get the true comedic timing she put into this. Only she was serious.

1984 new speak again, if you don't like what people say, censor the language so the unapproved viewpoint can't be expressed.
I've had enough of this.

When it was his “signature legislation”,
“Obamacare” was just great.
Now, it’s the “nword”...
Can these people be more absurd and deserving of ridicule?

Coming from the same woman who says children belong to the Gov’t, that Detroit failed b/c its government was too small and who wears tampons as earrings on the air.
Behold, proletariat: your betters.

Obama was picked specifically for this -
so that any criticism of the leftist agenda
could be dismissed with the guilt of racism/slavery.

Melissa's 2 hour two day a week show its pretty much 90% about victimization.
She takes forever to say that she means the word ‘Obamacare’ then she kills her own argument when she says how Obama embraced the word himself.
I can only assume that when he hear the word 'Obamacare' spoken by a Republican that we are supposed to go into the typical ‘I am offended by that’ act that MSNBC minorities play when a Republican guest is on a show.
“I am offended...”
Read between the lines, this says she knows that Obamacare is going to hurt Dems in next years election.

Maybe MSNBC’s marketing team has something in mind -— News with Comedy. They are really re-inventing the network into this. Watch out SNL !!

They can’t debate their failures, they can only try to silence the opposition.
