They keep stating that 5 million people have had their health insurance cancelled, which is bad enough, but I think the actual number of people who have lost their health insurance is much higher than that. Wouldn’t it be more accurate to state that 5 million POLICIES have been cancelled? Wouldn’t it be safe to assume that many of those cancellation notices are for policies where someone, in addition to themselves, also had their spouse and children covered under the same policy? If so, the situation even more serious than what’s being reported.

We need to put out blanket ads, Democrat voters, why did you support this?

orry Krauthammer, I believe this is all an orchestrated effort to establish Socialized Medicine. Obama knows exactly what he is trying to accomplish.

Yup. The elephant-in-the-tent that Krauthammer is missing is Medicaid enrollments. These are through the roof. And that is the ultimate plan: to get more people inducted into the Free Stuff Army (FSA). They figure once you are a soldier in the FSA, you will vote Democratic forever.

Medicaid will evolve into Single Payer. Count on it.

People are receiving cancellations. They know they lost their insurance. There is no way to talk around it.

It's an old commie trick to flat-out lie about a situation like this - which is what dems are attempting to do... . They're doing the equivalent of air brushing recently purged ones out of a picture - another way of lying...

Of course in commie countries the press goes along with political lies because they're afraid.

With the exception of our limited conservative press, I'll bet democrat lies are - for the most part - being ignored by the MSM... Nice to have a MSM that goes along with lies because they're idiots.../s

Keep in mind we can flub it completely. These kids are mad at Obama why? Is it because they’re suddenly converts to liberty and a government within its Constitutional limits or is it because the Democrats didn’t do a good job of getting them their free stuff?

The Millenials are the most brainwashed generation ever. Keep in mind that they were being taught by a generation that was taught by socialists. There isn’t any outside info. They’re hypersexualized and very amoral.

I think the way to hook these kids is economic first, moral second. We need to take the Senate and strengthen in the House and still Obama will be President. Once we have our President in office the economy needs to take off and get these kids jobs. You don’t ignore the social aspects, you stay on them for instance pointedly making clear that poverty is absolutely caused by bad moral decisions young in life. We’ve largely won on abortion and gun control and you stay on that, too. The Millenials are not going to see eye-to-eye with us on Same Sex Marriage and immigration is threading a needle with them.

If we give the Dems something to hang their hats on the media will bail them out and forget all the lies, etc. We need to push the economy, get it going again, and then the voters will listen.

The White House wanted those things to be called "renewals"

It just won’t happen here. Americans are too fat, lazy, contented, and cared for to ever storm the Bastille of the White House.

It won’t happen even when 50 million people lose their insurance. They will just sit there waiting to be rsscued.

We make fun of the French, but the French know how to protest and storm the streets.

“Looks like Krauthammer has not read enough”

*****

Krauthammer may be intelligent but he is short on common sense (e.g. former speech writer for Walter Mondale).

To borrow from Ben Franklin, Krauthammer is so learned that he can name a horse in 9 languages but so ignorant that he bought a cow to ride.

Gas prices doubled, unemployment doubled, and your fellow citizens re-elected the cause of all this. You expect them now to light up the torches and march on the White Hut? Maybe when torches go on sale at Wal-Mart.

I want to see video of politicians getting chased by angry mobs...

I prefer to see them hunted with dogs,... Obama Stars in The No-Name Law That Sank His Party; they'll be hunting Democrats with dogs,... but then, maybe that is just me?

The Republicans should pass legislation in the House making Obama and the dems in Congress who voted for it PERSONALLY liable for the health costs of people who lost their insurance. Of course it won't pass the Senate, but it would be a useful campaign club.

The "whereas'" write themselves.

Good point. My policy covers 4 people total, and it was cancelled.

The German Communists and the Nazis would have gunfights in the streets before the war.

That was over long before the war. The Nazi's and the Communists were coalition partners in the legislature. Remember the Nazi's peaked at 38% and needed a coalition partner to govern before Hitler got his Enabling Act. The Nazi's and Communists worked hand in hand to destroy the Weimar Republic.

IIRC, it was 5 million policies cancelled, but a policy can cover multiple people, so the number could—and probably is—much higher.

Great point. We need to give stats like the dems. Make it sound worse because each policy probably covers 2.3 people. That is almost 12 million people who are losing their health insurance in a few weeks because of Obamacare.

“If we give the Dems something to hang their hats on the media will bail them out and forget all the lies, etc. “

This is why it will be very important to NOT pass any immigration stuff while the big Zero is still in office.

The mere idea that the Rs are even considering this makes me crazy. Do they really think the low info hispanic (or any) voter will give THEM credit, rather than the President? If so they are so stupid that they make the low info voters look like King Solomon.

Sorry Krauthammer, I believe this is all an orchestrated effort to establish Socialized Medicine.

Oh, I think it was, but it blew up in their faces because the costs of this mess must come directly out of the checkbooks of the employed, middle class.

It's just as we've always known would be the case if everyone had to pay his income tax each April instead of having it deducted in 1/52 chunks from paychecks. Tax increases would be met with incredible hostility, too.

The administration was claiming 30,000 enrolled earlier in the month on the website that handles 34'of the 57 states.

By comparison, WA state that runs its own exchange claimed 17,000 enrolled in ACA health plans. As a matter of proportion, WA state added 60,000 to. Medicaid applied under this bill, but were previously eligible and didn't know it, another 77,000 qualify under the. Medicaid expansion. So 90% of the people captured by this effort so far are going to get free healthcare. Not exactly what the liberals expected.

The comments by these jerks sound like someone giving smelling salt to a drunk who’s been asleep for a few months. They never acknowledged the march on Washington against this travesty, and the Gavel holding Speaker of the House together. Pathetic. This Congress put together a monstrosity that will never work, never provide AFFORDABLE healthcare to anyone. They screwed the pooch and don’t care. These people in Washington exempting themselves from this travesty is a HUGE skid-mark on taxpayers and humanity! Eff all of them! Sorry Admin Moderator!
