Climate change warning: Killer winter storms for next THIRTY years
Daily Star ^ | 12/8/2013 | Matthew Young

Posted on 12/08/2013 6:11:53 AM PST by IbJensen

KILLER freezes, floods and heatwaves will devastate Britain during the next 30 years, climate experts have warned.

Many people could die as extreme weather becomes common.

There will be more freak winds like the October storm, which killed four people.

Heatwaves will be lethal and the sea level will rise, leaving coastal towns at risk of being swamped by storm surges.

Sir Brian Heap, president of the European Academies Science Advisory Council, said he felt “obliged” to issue the warning after a new study by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

It comes on the back of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, which has killed more than 5,000 people.

Sir Brian said: “Given the tragic events this year in the rest of the world and the recent IPCC report, EASAC feels obliged to draw attention to the growing impact of extreme weather in Europe.”

The continent’s leading experts had made a detailed study of likely extreme weather, he said.

Sir Brian warned: “From the major loss of lives in heatwaves to the economic and human costs of floods and storms, the implications are worrying.

“They present the European Union and Member States with significant challenges in preparing Europe for a future with greater frequency of extreme weather.”

And I was about you say we'd gotten our first snow - about 3" at my place.

But the cold was very usual this early - 7°.

Wait , what? I thought they were telling us it was going to stop snowing altogether? What happened to that?

BTW has anyone noticed that all the leaves on the trees are either dying, or have already died? It's a catastrophe!

Send me some money, maybe I can save us from this climate disaster with leaf credits.

FYI -it's going to take about 3 to 4 months for my fix to work.

I'll bet Gore and some of his ‘more money than brains’ gang of liberals elites seeded the upper atmosphere with ‘shiny stuff’ blocking some of the sun's rays.

That could cause global cooling...

Earth's self correcting - up to a point. But if Gore and his environmental nuts did something - something drastic - millions could die. Warming we could live with (if it had been real - which it wasn't) but global cooling’s another thing all together.

So says Sir Brian Heap of Crap, PhD (Piled Higher and Deeper).

Trying to get on board the train, which has, unfortunately for him, already left town.

“Would his mansion in Tennessee use more energy in a month than the average house does in a year?”

The Goreon has big flood lights in his yard to illuminate the trees that surround his mansion. Remember the big “lights-out night”, where everyone was asked to turn of their lights for a period of time to symbolize concern for the environment?
Gore’s tree spotlights stayed on the whole time.

Many people could die as extreme weather becomes common. happens every winter and every summer.

That's why humans found it necessary to produce enough food, clothing, shelter, and energy to compensate for the observed extremes in weather that happen two seasons each year.

Only when sub-humans dominate government, media, and academia is this NOT understood.

Speaking of winter...I’m taking a break from attending to my frozen water intake from up in a creek a quarter mile away. We’e hovering around zero Fahrenheit and unlikely to see a thaw for weeks.

The frost has been brutal with the present Arctic Outflow through B.C., and we have little snow so it’s going deep. My two sons in Alberta have been coping with blizzard conditions so I’m not really complaining.

Never mind $200; I’ll take Global Warming for a cup of coffee, Alex!

One can only wonder into whose throat this cretin is shoving his tongue.

Tipsey finally had enough of his crap and saw him for what he was: a deranged moron who inherited his father’s ill-gotten gains.

Gore’s tree spotlights stayed on the whole time.

I have a few tree spotlights; but I only use them during our annual fall festival, when a lot of family, friends and church folks gather for a big Halloween party.

If (hee hee hee) the Haunted Train breaks down in the woods (something out there manages to make the engine always quit), the little tykes can find their way back to SAFETY!!! by looking up through the leafless branches.

Hopefully, none of the woodland monsters (which always seem to be from 13-16 years old) will SNATCH! their flashlights away as they beeline it back!
