There seem to be some conservatives who view him in a light much better than he was.

Yes, please ply your bias more quietly lest some be offended.
“There seem to be some conservatives who view him in a light much better than he was.”
Exactly, back around ten years ago we were on a cruse and met a family that was then living in the US, but were from South Africa. They told us all kinds of stories about how much better there life was before Mandela became president and how their voice in the Mandela democracy was all but silenced.
Now, South Africa is a much worse place than it was then and people are having to leave the country of their birth as they have no more power at the ballot box.
Mandela was no Mugabe, but when I saw Ø eulogizing him all I could think was “one terrorist praising another.”
Also there was the bombing of a pub he was involved in that killed 23 men and women. He said in effect that civilians were legitimate targets in this war.
Well Hannity and Levin both had good things to say about him.
No mention of necklacing.
He was sainted for blowing up government buildings; the same thing for which Timothy McVeigh was executed.
Mandela killed innocents. McVeigh Killed innocents. Neither one deserves sainthood in my book.
1. Communist.
2. Communist.
3. Communist.
For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
He knows.
I hear ya. The local & state GOP are all over Facebook heaping praise on this ambient temperature commie.
In the modern age, Nelson Mandela will be remembered as an unsurpassed healer of human hearts. By dint of his character, sacrifice, vision and abounding love, he won a revolution without shedding blood, founded a peaceful nation in a land of turmoil, and personified principle in a world searching for integrity. - Mitt Romney
*PUKE*
I saw that too. Beyond comprehension.
Sure seems to be a lot of confliction about this guy. To me, the greatest people are the unsung ones who are never mentioned in the press, but love their neighbors, serve quietly, fear God, and await the resurrection of the dead in Christ Jesus. They are all over the place.
If he repented and threw himself down at the mercy of The Lord - then well. If not, 'Vengeance is mine saith The Lord'.
Yes. That is one thing about the Lord, he gives us that chance to make good. If we really repent.
Hope this guy did.
Speaking of which (commies), I got an email newsletter from vision-strike-wear(a business that sells military wear with you rank/unit/branch on them. Nice stuff) this morning with a little notation of upcoming dates and events. The last item was Dec. 26-—kwanzaa. I sent them a note asking them to look in to the background of ron karenga and the “invention” of the bogus holiday. Around 9 a.m. I got a call from them and they said they were removing the reference to the “celebration”. I didn’t mean to try to tell them what to do but they said they would rather keep my business than lose it even though it isn’t much business. I presupposed that they would know about the marxist/commie/socialist pos that started it all. They were unaware but maybe, just maybe, they’ll do some looking in to things than just accepting the PC thing to do. We’ll wait and see if they take it off. If so, I’m gonna order some more shirts from them. If any other vets out there are interested in special shirts for themselves, here’s the link:

Bias? I know for a fact it is the truth. I heard it on the radial.
