Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said his opposition research shop is targeting Hillary Clinton ahead of the 2016 election.

Priebus said the RNC is trying to focus on the midterm elections, but added there should be a greater emphasis on the potential presidential candidate.

“Well, we have — so our research shop, along with America Rising, has been focusing in on Hillary Clinton,” Priebus said on The Hugh Hewitt Show on Thursday. “But I agree with you that there needs to be a more of a focus.” American Rising is a GOP research firm started by Mitt Romney's former campaign manager, Matt Rhoades. It is targeting candidates ahead of 2016.

For crying out loud. FIRE THESE MORONS!

I’m not familiar with how one becomes an RNC official. Can we get rid of these people in some kind of in-party election? They are losers that hire losers.

Why don’t we just run Dick Morris as our candidate!

Glad you mentioned Reince Priebus

He was on CNN Crossfire the other night debating Debby Wassman Schultz and Stephanie Cutter on Obamacare and while they spent most of show accusing GOP of wanting to take away Americans health care, Priebus just sat there responding with a sad face and repeating ‘Thats not true’

I didnt see Priebusgo after Obamacare at all the whole show, he was those two lib wimmins punching bag.

Priebus needs to stay the hell away from TV cameras, I never seen a GOP as weak as him, except maybe Steele.

Newt isnt exactly a tiger on that show but Priebus is a total wet noodle.

The political culture in the RNC is beyond repair. I know someone who worked there. Its never going to change.

She might run but the rats are smart enough not to give her the nod, she is un-electable and they know it.

Roger that. A good strategy and disciplined messaging could have defeated the clown.

I think Reince is tired out. I rarely see him on the air. When I do, he seems very passive, just there in the studio because its a job expectation. Debbie Wasserman is there to kick ass and take (or slander) names. Reince is mostly on defense, not offense. He presents himself as a well dressed well mannered barely moving target. The fate of targets is to get hit.

I saw it (CNN Crossfire) with closed captions on one of the TVs at gym and fortunately I couldn't hear his voice as its sooo whiny. He said nothing. Nothing.

Even last year with his pathetic ‘war on caterpillars’ response to the Dems ‘war on wimmin’ theme. He projects a weak scared p....y

He is really pathetic and needs to stay away from cameras.

You are right. Perhaps the RNC is trying to get her elected. They will throw crap up for her to shoot down. Then, when the real election comes, she will be able to say, "old news, I've already responded to that."
