Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should s-h-i-t in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palins (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported vacation for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced, Wednesday afternoon, that MSNBC and Martin Bashir are parting ways.

Is’nt Tom Brokaw still part of that network? Tom disappointed me by saying nothing about this. Bashir is only part of the problem. Something is seriously wrong or dysfunctional at that station. Rotten inside and out. Whoever approved of or assisted Bashir with that nasty commentary should also be exposed and should also put a paper bag over their heads in shame.

Reminds me of the “Cheney lied” and “Beck lied” folks. I used to ask them what they lied about and the answer was always “They lie about everything.” Keep pushing and they’ll keep saying “Everything”. Note I said “used to ask them”. I stopped dealing with liberals way before the last election.
