Harry Reid Allows Staff to Exempt Themselves from Obamacare
Breitbart ^

While millions of Americans struggle with the pitfalls of Obamacare and are frustrated by bungled government health care exchanges, Obamacare co-architect and cheerleader Harry Reid has exempted many of his staff from buying insurance through the exchanges.

In September, Democratic Senate Majority Leader Reid told reporters, "Let's stop these really juvenile political games -- the one dealing with health care for Senators and House members and our staff. We are going to be part of exchanges, that's what the law says and we'll be part of that."

According to Reid spokesman Adam Jentleson, under the Affordable Care Act a Senator can allow that their committee and leadership staffers keep their attractive federal employee insurance plans. Reid has exercised that option. Jentleson said, “We are just following the law."

Just because it’s “lawful” doesn’t mean it isn’t criminal.

Unfortunately for Americans living in the new age of the LET ‘EM EAT CAKE POLITICAL ROYALTY, Mr. Madison failed to incorporate his thoughts on this subject in the Constitution.

Federalist Paper #57 James Madison
“I will add, as a fifth circumstance in the situation of the House of Representatives, restraining them from oppressive measures, that they can make no law which will not have its full operation on themselves and their friends, as well as on the great mass of the society. This has always been deemed one of the strongest bonds by which human policy can connect the rulers and the people together. It creates between them that communion of interests and sympathy of sentiments, of which few governments have furnished examples; but without which every government degenerates into tyranny. If it be asked, what is to restrain the House of Representatives from making legal discriminations in favor of themselves and a particular class of the society? I answer: the genius of the whole system; the nature of just and constitutional laws; and above all, the vigilant and manly spirit which actuates the people of America, a spirit which nourishes freedom, and in return is nourished by it. If this spirit shall ever be so far debased as to tolerate a law not obligatory on the legislature, as well as on the people, the people will be prepared to tolerate any thing but liberty. Such will be the relation between the House of Representatives and their constituents. Duty, gratitude, interest, ambition itself, are the chords by which they will be bound to fidelity and sympathy with the great mass of the people.”

The liberal ruling elite makes laws for the common herd and lives high off the hog, scorning the people who work hard and whose money the elite lives off of.

Anti-Federalist = Contemplative, astute, foresightedness, and judicious

Federalist = Believed in the “audacity of hope” and trust in imperfect creatures sticking to a "code" filled with many "holes" to abuse(Which is why Madison finally got off the hope train and changed his tune thereafter).

The answer is simple, A state Initiative

All persons that can demonstrate that ANY ELECTED representative or Public Servant within the State of “ “ has been exempted in any way, from any TAX, LAW, STATUTE, REGULATION shall be Exempt from ALL TAXES, FEES, ASSESSMENTS on Income and Property for not less than 2 years.

problem solved.

We need a Regime change. These Leftists are apparently not subject to the same laws as everyone else.

If your boss is powerful enough, you aren’t subject to the same rules other staffers—and the rest of the country—are subject to: involuntary servitude ... gee, it’s like living in 18th & 19th century America or any banana republic.
Time for a regime change!

The republican party should run ad after ad with this story but they won’t. They want cheap labor while the democrats want more voters. Both parties are killing America.

#18 you are exactly right — this is a made for success ad to attack the hypocrisy of Reid and the dams. A simple ad saying if Obamacare is good enough for the American people why isn’t it good enough for the staff that helped put it together. But as usual, the Repubs will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by not attacking.
