LONDON (AP) - The editor of The Guardian says his newspaper has published just 1 percent of the material it received from former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden.
Alan Rusbridger is being questioned Monday by Parliament's home affairs committee as part of a session on counter-terrorism.

Much better.
” I do mind, however, the implication that an American cannot be interested and upset that HIS/HER government is violating the US Constitution.”
This is specious and demagogic.
It’s iPad and and auto-correct.
these are not the same programs as the present administration. that’s what snowden is all about.
“
>>Snowden is a traitor, not a patriot, who in no way acted in the interests of the US or its citizens.<<
.
Snowden may not have been a patriot but he ratted on US agencies that are themselves unpatriotic and that DO NOT have the people’s personal interests in mind.
Apple products are perfect. They can't make mistakes.
matter=manner
Absolutely.
Snowden revealed the depths that the federal government has sunk to usurp the Constitution, specifically the Fourth Amendment.
He’s been here a year. Troll maybe?
IMO Snowden is a gifted amateur.
If someone like him can glean all this secret data and get away with it then just imagine what trained operatives from China, Russia and the Mossad can get.
Snowden has a target painted on his ass because he had the audacity to let ordinary folks know how they were being abused by the government security agencies.
The NSA is now in a very bad spot... Snowden could fabricate data and there would be absolutely no way the NSA could discredit him.
Once again in proper English, please.
No, it's just that I speak, read and write English, whereas you apparently speak, read and write some other language.
I asked the question because your garbled syntax made it impossible to determine what you were trying to say. I was simply seeking a clarification of the point that you were (unsuccessfully) attempting to communicate.
You didn't need to get snippy with me. It's not my fault that you don't know how to put together a clear sentence using standard English.
A troll or a nut, perhaps a trolling nut.
10 years, maybe even 5 years ago I would have called Snowden a traitor. However, I view him as a whistleblower. Our federal government is acting in any way but in the interests of the USA. There will probably be some collateral damage but it’s far more important for people to see how the government is working against the citizens, the Constitution and our true national interests.
“Snowden is a traitor, not a patriot, who in no way acted in the interests of the US or its citizens.”
That’s only your opinion, and that of the people in our “government” who have a vested interest in abuse of our citizens. We need less heat and more light. I don’t want our national security compromised, but when those who “protect” us, are using their “tools” against us, it’s time for a Snowden or two. One man’s traitor is another man’s patriot. I sure don’t put the folks at the NSA in the latter category.
Yes. Ultimately it is my lack of proof reading before hitting post.
>>At least Bush was doing it for Security purposes and I believe ALWAYS in good faith.<<
The Dims have exactly the same views about Obama.
Some of them are new, but some are going back at least that far. Carnivore, for example, is every bit as intrusive as the new technologies, just not as effective. It’s been in place since Clinton, and Bush did nothing to stop it.
