The minimum wage (Living wage) argument is so silly.
You pay someone $20 an hour to flip burgers and the price of burgers goes up.
The burger flipper is in the same spot, due to price increases.
The person that gets screwed is the retiree on a FIXED income.

Union punks also benefit from minimum wage hikes as they have their pay linked to the minimum wage.
Minimum wage goes up, and they get an equivalent increase in their pay.
Not so for the bulk of the middle class whose wages have been stagnant for a decade.
Also, you need to watch what the players are doing.
Nancy Pelosi championed this “Living wage” Crap, but exempted American Samoa, where she and her hubby have major agricultural holdings.
That witch drove the cost of business up for her competitors and exempted herself.
She should be in jail.

I have no doubt about that, I’m sure they are logged and charged. As a member of the audience, though, I hate them.

(BTW, I worked radio for 15 years. I know what “live spots” are, I did enough of them.)

I prefer live spots to canned commercials.
I wish there were no commercials but that is business.
As a radio guy, cueing a CART is easier, but on the listening end, people like the soft sell better.

Very nice! Both of my ‘fridge’s crisper drawers are filled with packages of batteries, for scopes, flashlights and wireless mouse/keyboard. Got it bookmarked; thanks.

Nothing “soft” about the sell one does when pretending a spot is a news story. That’s why I hate them.
I don’t mind live spots (even if they’ve been carted up), because you know from the first word what it is, but I always think the host is playing a game of “gotcha” when they have spots masquerading as news. Hannity does it too, but I already don’t listen to him for other, better reasons.
(BTW, I do listen to radio, I just have to turn it up a bit!)

“Rhapsody in Blue” gives the DJ time to do just about anything.
In top 40, the equivalent was MacArthur Park.

That is a dilly of a pickle of a problem.
When hat when chatty Kathy sits next to us and wants to yak at you when you just want to be left alone, but it is even worse when you have to listen to chatty Kathy and she is IGNORING you. LOL

Surely, Simone is not national, right? The worst, for me, is Dennis Miller. Both he and Simone mistake their callers for hecklers.

I wish I could get Millers show on the airwaves.
He is not the quintessential radio guy but he does have his moments
