Long Islander Cornelius Kelly found it would be no problem to secure a family plan for his wife and three older kids through New Yorks health-care exchange, but his 18-month-old daughter was out in the cold. The baby would need her own insurance policy.
I couldnt believe what I was being told, said the dad from East Quogue, in Suffolk.
Kelly said he was no fan of the Affordable Care Act, but when he received notice a few weeks ago that his current insurance plan was being canceled, he tried the New York State of Health Web site.

Being a low information person has its drawbacks.
The obvious reason for this is that in the Dem/lib world, all babies should be aborted. Since abortion is covered by 0bamacare there should be no babies.
I think people over 70 are going to encounter a lot of “glitches” like this.
The only way to end this nightmare is for people to not buy into Obamacare.”
I think the only way to end this nightmare is for ALL Federal employees to be covered under the plan and end ALL subsidies for ALL Congressmen and other Federal employees. Make all the Senators and Representatives and all their employees pay for coverage out of their base salary. Bet we’d have some changes PDQ.
“Terrible reporting. Why wouldnt they investigate the reason?”
You just answered your own question.
Problem is, you and I don't have much of a say in that, try as we may.
But each of us can, on our own, OPT OUT. Tell these long-noses to get stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey.
The American People can kill this thing dead if we just OPT OUT.
“I think the Dad is covered in case he ever becomes pregnant.”
And yes, Dad can get the taxpayer to pay for the sex organs and surgery to accomplish that too now.
They’ll just print (steal your savings) and borrow (steal from future generations) to pay for it until they can’t print and borrow anymore.
From a blog on ‘American Thinker:’
“Wait! Maybe Peter Singer, colleague of Barack Obama’s Science and Technology Czar John Holdren, had some input in the ‘under two’ individual policy idea and New York is a pilot state. Singer, a bioethics professor at Michelle Obama’s alma mater, Princeton University, is of the opinion that disposing of children up to age two is fine because newborns and toddlers lack the “essential characteristics of personhood,” which Singer says are rationality, autonomy, and self-consciousness.”
I guess the thought “is/will be” that mother’s are permitted to have post-partum abortions of their “fetuses” for up to 2 years after the fetus is removed from the mother’s body. Thus extending even further the amount of time a woman has for bh0’s “right to abortion.”
The headline is very misleading. At the end of the story, it says that it was all a mistake. Ignorant workers create headaches for the regime’s subjects.
We once had an insurance nightmare created by poor computer programming. When hubby’s plan year rolled over, everyone in our household except for hubby and our newborn at the time had our insurance cancelled. We did not know this until our daughter developed pneumonia due to aspirating something at a dental visit. We went to Urgent Care where they diagnosed pneumonia. Then everyone started acting funny because they were trying to determine where to send us to the hospital. They had our insurance card, but no one told us that the insurance company denied coverage. Daughter was transported to a hospital. She was there two days before someone from the hospital started asking questions about our insurance. So the doctors, nurses, etc. had been treating us like we were crazy or criminal liars because a computer had spit us out of the system. This was two days before Christmas when workers are on vacation. Hubby started calling his HR and the insurance company. HE figured out what went wrong with the dropping of coverage. HE informed the insurance company how to fix their problem. It is a good thing hubby had been a computer programmer in health insurance for a lot of years. AND it is a good thing our pediatrician who was on vacation called in and informed the hospital administrators that they had better make everything right. It was a lesson in computer problems in hospitals. We experienced similar problems recently with our son in hospital. His nurse spilled the painkillers she was about to put in his IV. She had to go request more from pharmacy. Because they were narcotics, the pharmacy would not dispense more until . . . Four hours later. It was a terrible thing to happen. But the computer would not allow an override. That is how militant the hospital was over narcotics.

Now that abortion is a sacrament, why limit post-partum abortion to two years? /sarc
