Barack Obama, resolute enough when hes designing health care schemes, shows only irresolution abroad. Weakness and irresolution is the face he turns to the rest of the world, in hopes that if he hires a good speechwriter and bows deeply enough to whatever kings and potentates cross his path, thats good enough.
But of course it isnt, and Mr. Obama is challenged now at every turn by friend and foe of the United States who need to see on what meat the man feeds, and of what stuff his promises and assurances are made. The mullahs in Tehran, who cant believe how easy it was to roll the president and his counterparts in Geneva, had no sooner signed the agreement to preserve the Iranian pursuit of the bomb at a bargain price than the mullahs began dreaming up new demands. If the mullahs could roll him once, they could roll him twice.

EXCERPT:
“The weakness of this decision from the White House’s point of view is that Obama is not able to and does not want to admit it. It represents a collapse of all America’s obligations, and a serious violation of its alliance not just with Israel, but with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the Gulf states and to a certain extent even Turkey. “
Obama is throwing our allies under the bus, to appease our enemies.
Did she graduate from the University of Bissel?
The world's thugs will be standing in line ready to 'deal' with our "President'... or they'll be bullying us to see how far they can go. Democrats have put the country as risk. Fools.
Just look at China — unilaterally expands its territorial claims, against Japan owned islands, and Obama just acquiesces — he is only tough with our friends (e.g.Israel) and the American people (shoves Obamacare down our throats whether we want it or not)
US carriers urged to comply with China air zone rules

EXCERPT:
“The US says it expects its civilian aircraft to observe China’s rules in an air defence zone in the East China Sea.
A US statement said this did not mean the US accepted China’s requirements in the zone covering territory claimed by China, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea.
China wants all aircraft there to file flight plans and identify themselves.
The US, Japan and South Korea say they have flown military aircraft in the area unannounced. But China said it scrambled fighter jets on Friday.
The move was to monitor US and Japanese aircraft in the zone.
‘Firm but calm’
The air defence identification zone (ADIZ) covers a vast area of the East China Sea, including a group of islands claimed by Japan, China and Taiwan.”
I call it the Nicholas Berg school of foreign policy. Remember him? He went to Iraq to do good for the Iraqis, and he let Iraqis know it. Disregarding warnings not to go out alone, he felt his good intentions would shield him from harm.
We all know how that turned out.
Japan flies the F-15, which is over 30 years old in design, but still a very formidable aircraft.
Obama can’t sic the IRS on foreign leaders. And not many North Koreans are reading The New York Times
“Obama is throwing our allies under the bus, to appease our enemies.”
I think he’s appeasing his anti-war voter base.
The Anointed One sincerely believes that his only enemies are those who bitterly cling to “their guns and religion”. He is totally absorbed by domestic politics to the point of suicidal indifference to the world outside of our borders.
My theory is that nobody is that stupid, but nobody — and then the only other alternative left is that it’s deliberate...
Pruden’s essay is chock full of hegemonistic thinking. Did Krauthammer (aka Dr. Strangelove) ghost write this for Wes?
Susan E. Rice, the White House negotiator, told Mr. Karzai that if theres no agreement soon, the United States would withdraw all its troops and trainers in 2014. Mr. Karzai was so intimidated that he added the new conditions, including a demand that all prisoners at Guantanamo be freed.
I actually like the idea. We can release all the prisoners at Gitmo into Afghanistan. Put a death penalty on the head of any caught outside of that august nation. If Karzai likes them so much, he should have them living in his country.
