Some of the vacuum in support and implementation of the act has been filled by community groups. "The glitches have not prohibited one ounce of enrollment in the African American community," says Barbara Williams-Skinner, co-chair of the National African American Clergy Network, which says it has reached out to 5,000 pastors across the country to promote enrollment under the act.
Williams-Skinner says the network has focused its efforts on 13 states with the largest share of the 7 million African Americans without health insurance. For many in that demographic, problems with computer enrollments haven't been very relevant. "Many in the African American community don't have computers, so it's not a big deal," she says. "They can call, they can walk in, they can do a paper application.

But if they did, the LA Times would be the first to promote it.
Only if they can get enough white people to sign up will it work, because somebody needs to be on the paying end of the redistribution of wealth.
“Democrats ran for the hills the moment the technical problems emerged with the federal website. Their panicky response to the wave of cancellations of older, noncompliant health plans only helped foster the public misconception that these cancellations would leave most policyholders without insurance or saddled with higher premium bills. (In fact, the Americans facing higher bills, especially for lesser services, are vastly outnumbered by those who will get better coverage or coverage for the first time.)”
At the cost of 3-5 million (depending on who’s counting) perfectly good health care plans cancelled, Obama gives (gives implies medicaid) 100,000 free health care at a 80% success rate. Isn’t socialism wonderful? /sarc
You know it’s a fail when cheerleaders like Hiltzik have to use the word “hope” in the title.
Cross your fingers!
Yo!!! Whitey is paying for it. Sign up!!! Mo free stuff!!!
L.A. Slimes, Obungacares biggest shill.
Gotta have slaves in the bottom of the ship pulling the oars for this to work. That’s middle class and young healthy working people.
Right now the slaves aren’t signing up.

If Congress will not repeal the ACA, America is destined to become a failed socialist state. The dictators of the world have a lot of scores to settle with America. The future will be ugly.
Obama said his reparations would look different.
And defender. They still won’t release that recording of the won at that Khalidi function, as I suspect soetoro’s islamism would be laid and quite clear for even the useful idiots to see.
I would say that Obamacare is the most popular in CA over the other states until their doctors and hospitals start going away. Then the silver plan becomes Medi-Cal lite. Unless you are getting a subsidy or free under Medi-Cal anyone buying through the exchange is a chump. Go to www.ehealthinsurance.com/ and buy from a company not in CoveredCa.
Story......upon leaving work a co worker was ingaged in a conversation with two black females who were discussing mortages thru thier church, so he said how do I get a low rate like this can I also do this? The reply was no, this is not for you. Moral? the regime funnels tax payer money to the church for free or at a low low rate the church puts its vig on it which is lower than the average rate offered out there and everyone is happy? Well at least the low information voters are. So goes the push thru the church of deathcare, if it’s free it’s for me!
little production...lots of taking
Talk about a lost church....but on an earthly note,
How do you get a mortgage loan thru a church?
501 (c)3 status would forbid this. I know you need someone to enforce it first.. ..but have the Gibmedat’s infiltrated this far into our system?
That would be an eye opener to a lot of people!
