To even make the pretense of ‘vetting’ Obama now would mean that the MSM would have to admit failure to do due diligence at the least, outright lying and collusion at the worst.
They won’t, frankly. They will ask polite questions, and they will take the Administration’s answers like good little children. There now, all better!
They won’t investigate because liberalism is a religion. The media are the faithful. The faithful accept the religion on faith.
The gimmick here...is that most university systems would have viewed dismal grades (anything less than a “C”) and required you to redo the class at their university as you arrive. So it’s impossible to explain how youthful Obama arrives and just does two years of college at Columbia...never redoing any classes. The odds of this? Zero, unless you had a fake transcript. I suspect in the end....between a fake transcript and a status as some Indonesian resident in the US...the youthful Obama got open doors. Thanks to the comical routine of the news media....we will never know the story.
In a way, you have to ask this question. After eight years of almost no investigative journalism...can any of the networks or major newspapers slip back into investigative journalism in 2016? My humble guess is no....and they may have forgotten this entire part of their trade.
I wouldn’t count on it. It will be left to future historians to unmask America;s first affirmative action President - and, -hopefully - LAST.
I have to disagree. The newspapers and networks do aggressive investigative journalism just fine. The thing is - they only do it against their enemies, Republicans and conservatives.
I am confident that they will be able to generate fake but accurate stories about all Republican candidates.

The MSM will never properly “vet” him, but they will put out negatives in an effort to disassociate themselves to restore some credibility for the ‘14 elections. Obama and O’democare are doing a number on the rat electorate. It is up to us to see that they don’t succeed in restoring credibility. They own it.
Self-proclaimed “journalists” won’t tell the truth, but historians will. It’s going to be ugly.

To promote Hillary in the presidential campaign they are going to have to COMPLETE the hagiography of St. O’Bumbles.

Bill and then-primary candidate Hillary had pics of Obama wearing Muslim dress---but Teddy Kennedy warned them not to use them. Teddy and Caroline Kennedy went on to enthusiastically endorse Obama.
O's late night visit to Hillary resulted in her dropping out----probably negotiated the SoS job.......if she dropped out, she got the job.
I do not want my BC in the public domain, but then again, I'm not the President of the United States, with all the attendant protections that that position offers. I agree with every other single point the author makes. It is obscene that the media hasn't delved into any single aspect of this President.
Perhaps the "judo" way of forcing them on this is to keep proclaiming "We love the President. We want to know everything about him, and especially about his early years, since he's such a positive role model for disadvantaged youth. How did he get into Columbia? How did he get into Harvard? At what point did he realize he was a Christian? Who helped him come to that realization?"
Inquiring minds want to know.
