U.S. House Speaker John Boehner is "sincere" in wanting immigration reform and applauds President Obama for accepting a piecemeal approach, a spokesman said.
"The speaker is sincere in wanting to get something done, and we're pleased the president said he can accept the step-by-step approach we're taking in the House," Brandan Buck, a spokesman for the Ohio Republican, told The Washington Post after Obama used the word sincere to characterize Boehner's desire.
"I believe the speaker is sincere. I think he genuinely wants to get it done," Obama told an audience at a San Francisco community center. "And that's something we should be thankful for this week."

Most of our problems in government stem from this exact line of thinking.
And he's going to give Ubama everything he wants when he's a lame duck.
The Lame Duck session of Congress after the midterms next year is going to be one giant FU to the American people from the GOP-e and the RATS.
I’m terrified of what might happen in the lame duck period, especially from the primaried RINOs.
I’m not sure what can be done about it, but those phone lines will have to be flooded with voters letting these guys know we’re paying attention.

Nothing should be done on immigration as long as there are millions of Americans unemployed. Are they nuts? Are Americans nothing to them? Who do they think THEY work for?

Immigration reform only if it is “comprehensive” and “common sense” reform. /s

They’re all planning on relinquishing their citizenship and moving to a country they haven’t screwed up yet and where they will be free of US taxes, so there’s not much we can do.
The treachery of Boehner’s lame duck session of Congress next year will be historic.
#2 remove all Obama restrictions on the Border Patrol and allow them to do their jobs.
#3. All Immigration judges are to order deportation of all illegal aliens charged with crimes - all crimes.
#4. Pass legislation forbidding illegal aliens from accessing any and all welfare benefits derived from federal funds. (ditto - education)
#5. enforce the law prohibiting employers from hiring illegal aliens.
#6. Pass stringent laws denying citizenship to children born of two non-citizens (legal or illegal) The Constitution does this but has been misinterpreted over the years per some (many?)constitutional scholars.
This is real immigration reform and what I call “piecemeal.”

or even changing our immigration laws to be the samr as mexico’s is a good start. and enforcing them like they do.
Boehner is part of the problem, retire him.
This is a UPI message to Boehner that he better fall in line or else.
Any piecemeal legislation will be sent to the Senate where it will be opened and inserted with the Senate’s bill.
Then it goes to conference for reconciliation but all the House will vote, all democrats and 17+ republicans, and it will pass.
Once it passes, 11 million + illegals will be legalized and regardless of citizenship a substantial portion will be illegally registered to vote. The word ‘illegal’ means nothing because there are no consequences for illegal behavior.
The democrats will then have a permanent majority for generations to come.
