There is a problem with these stories.

Insurance policies have always been cancelled or modified. While I don’t doubt the number has skyrocketed in the last few months, it’s not like this is an absolutely new phenomenon. To actually have some meaning, statistics are needed to show it has become more common. The story as it stands is merely an anecdote that something bad happened to a person.

Similarly, people and organizations have always been subjected to audit by the IRS. Some of those organizations or individuals, simply due to random luck of the draw, have been “opposed” to whatever group is in power at the moment.

That such things are happening now is now in and of itself news unless a statistical pattern of targetting can be demonstrated, as I believe it was in the non-profit organization issue. Not that very many people cared.

Why don't you ask the IRS if you can audit it...?

Hold on!!! I’ve worked as an insurance employee in the public sector for over 35 years. I have NEVER< EVER, EVER had my policy up and cancelled. Not once. Not ever.

We are not talking about a *modification* where the premium goes up 2-3%.

Stop echoing the communist line that Obamacare (until proven otherwise) is just along the same lines as the usual, ordinary, insurance policy changes that happen to everyone, every year. There is no comparison to what is being FORCED onto people and the ordinary yearly adjustments.

Ok, how about you do a comparative display (you know, those meaningful statistics you are telling us about) telling us that this is a normal amount of cancellations???

We’ll need to see who sanctioned the study, the data, in raw form, the source who compiled the data, and who paid for the study...

I mean, as long as we should be accepting the fact that people are losing their coverage is not that big a deal, according to you...

Should be easy...We’ll need to see that information, by COB next Friday...

Gosh Sherm are you really that Naïve?

80 Million people will lose their insurance AFTER the next election.

That is no anecdote Friend that is not usual.

Come out from under that Rock. Obamacare has screwed us all in the butt, without lubricant. Putting it off until after the election will not stop the pain.

Obamacare MUST be eliminated before 80 million people oose their health care. Obamacare is only a license to steal for Insurance Companies and the IRS.

Virtually every policy under Obamacare now must include the list of mandatory things (such as dental care for children, maternity, mental health, etc.) regardless of one's gender/age/marital status.

This means that every plan that was best suited for individuals will have to be cancelled and replaced with plans that cover unneeded things.

Ya know, it would be easy to write off an audit as luck of the draw, but with revelations coming out almost daily of political targeting...I lean toward a thug politics and retribution for speaking out.

Interviewed on Fox news...then get audited. Bunch of thugs in D.C.

So, you are saying to us that the Tea Party audits are simply “random” IRS picks, the “luck of the draw” so to speak?

Did you feel the IRS going after groups with ‘Tea Party’ in their names was a ‘random luck of the draw’?

Come on...

I think that the chances of BOTH Tucker and Elliot being audited in close succession are low. That the audits happened right after their public statements undermining Obamacare is a pretty extreme coincidence that one should be Very dubious of it being a coincidence.

“There is a problem with these stories.”

Sorry, if it quacks like a duck, it probably is a duck. There is no “coincidences” with this administration.

Did you just wake up from a six year long sleep, or do you just enjoy being a contrarian?

Your statement is a naked defense of the most heinous regime this country has ever seen. I can hardly believe that a Freeper wrote it.
