After having banned concealed carry in all of their stadiums, and even ordering women to give up their purse in favor of see-through plastic bags, (dont ya feel safer now?) the NFL has accelerated its war on gun ownership and the Second Amendment by trampling on the First Amendment. The League has refused to air a commercial for Daniel Defense in the 2014 Super Bowl on grounds that the weapons manufacturer violates the NFL regulations for prohibited advertising categories. Their rejection, however, appears rooted in political activism, rather than strict adherence to long standing advertising rules.

A league w declining attendance cannot afford to be Gun Control Fascist without losing more of its fan base
I haven’t watched an NFL game since they reinstated Michael (PissBeUponHim) Vick.
I would boycott them for this too, but I can;t reduce my watching below zero.
I just don’t like my tax dollars paying for something I am firmly against...Obamacare ads at the NFL?
A league w declining attendance cannot afford to be Gun Control Fascist without losing more of its fan base
And with the push to eliminate tackling and ‘head injuries’ the NFL will soon devolve into soccer with a funny shaped football.
The see-through bag rule was the final straw. I will not attend an NFL game again ever.
Roger Goodell is such a P.C. P——!
I quit watching too when they allowed Vick back in the game.........what a POS!
Sad that he’s making millions today because he can play a stupid game.....
This anti-gun fetish just adds a new layer of boredom.
I have convinced a handful of others to try an experiment. Take a month in the fall and don't watch or listen to a single NFL game. It's amazing how much time that frees to do less boring stuff. That handful I convinced to try it for a month never went back. I doubt anyone else ever would.
I personally thought the game was turning into arena ball with the amount of high scoring games being a regular thing now.
I lost interest in all “pro-sports” decades ago, and won’t ever go back to it.
I can guess why a guy like me wouldn’t go to a game. The ticket prices to a Patriot game or Giants game would be like $200. So if I bring my whole family to one, it would be nearly $900 with tickets, parking, concessions. I always thought going to sporting events should be a family thing. I have no idea really attends these games. Seems way to expensive. My wife and I make a relatively good income too.
One’s opinion is that the best place to watch a NFL game is in the comfort of your warm living room with a big screen TV. Who needs the outrageous prices, the drunks, the traffic jams and 6-7 bucks to buy a beer?
I have not watched football, NFL or college in 7 or 8 years. I have not watched the NBA or college b-ball in 20 or so years. All I watch now is NHL or college hockey. They are not quite so PC. And as an avid tennis player I watch tennis which for some reason has not gone over the edge even though the USTA is as PC as you can get.
For one, we are bread and circus with this fixation on these sports, it makes me want to hurl at times. But Rush was right, they behave like the Crips and Bloods and now the League is trying to be PC to make Lear Deader happy. What once was a great institution and something all American is destroying itself. In someways I hate to see it, but frankly in maybe they deserve it, they are doing it to themselves. I’d say turn off your TV, but most FR-er’s have already. Their are 2 sports I seek out that have none of this insanity and I will keep them on the down-low as they are not polluted with this insanity....
Just askin’ here but, are there any NASCAR teams totin’ Colt or S&W sponserships? Or has NASCAR ruled them out? Seems odd that you have beer sponserships(or are there? Kind of like ads on the evil tube. I pay no attention to them so I don’t know.) for cars that go close to 200 mph. LOL!
Football?
Wazzat??
I haven’t watched Professional Sports of ANY KIND nor watched a TV show or been to a Movie in 25 years, precisely because of MORALLY BANKRUPT actions and policies like this.
