The looks are Frank’s, as he clearly looks nothing like Woody. The last 40 +++ years of very LIBERAL education.....which has totally warped their view of everything.
I am beyond thankful for the education I got in a one room school & in a small town high school in the 40’s & 50’s.
We cannot change things until we get control of the education system in the USA. EVEN IF there has to be a massive rise in home schooling.
The high level of people under 40 who are ‘so smart’ and so completely stupid all at the same time, it makes me cringe.
Example: I have been working diligently toward moving if I can sell this property. I am a bit of a pack rat & I don’t give away my books, etc. Therefore, I have a number of HEAVY boxes which have to be moved. I have numbered all the boxes I already have packed & I know the contents of each of them. I have estimated the weight of each, also, so I can pack the truck in an balanced manner. I have OAK bookcases & an solid OAK dining room table with 6 chairs. Also, I have 2 upright freezers and 2 refrigerators/freezers. The washer dryer together weigh almost 500 pounds, according to my local Maytag dealer. Therefore, loading these 2 trucks & the trailer is important to me.
Wednesday, I went to the local U-Haul station, which the man has operated for over 10 years. I asked him what the PAYLOAD was in the 26’ truck & also the payload in the 6 x 12 foot enclosed trailer. He didn’t know what I meant by “PAYLOAD”.
I explained—and he kept looking at all of the literature he had from U-Haul. Everything says how many CUBIC FEET i can load, but not the weight inside the truck itself. He kept saying it didn’t matter- I kept saying it certainly DID matter.
Then a prolonged phone call to the U-Haul questions center. I got even more convoluted answers there. Since the Patriot Act, there are now random pullovers at the scales for U-Haul trucks—supposedly because they are looking for humans being transported inside the trucks. I don’t want to be hamstrung with being held up because someone at a scales thinks I am overloaded. I also don’t want handling or tire issues while making the move.
As of writing this, I still don’t have a satisfactory answer & am going to contact another U-Haul location where the main business is truck repairs. Maybe they can understand my worry.
Another example of how stupid today’s employees are—it actually took some time to explain PAYLOAD to all of them. They kept telling me the GVW of the truck-—which is the total weight of the truck & the contents.

It is an ugly truth that (insert color, religion) man has murdered (insert color, religion) man throughout history. It is also a truth to say that the so-called native American is a conquered people (oops, somebody call the politically correct police). Finally, if "white" America was really evil, there would be NO native Americans left with nary a trace of their history.
