A society cannot recognize "gay marriage" and at the same time condemn sodomy, buggery, or whatever you want to call it. Even conservative publications like National Review rarely make this obvious argument. The comment about buggery being in "in a league of its own as far as risk is concerned" is consistent with what Bush's nominee for surgeon general, James W. Importantly, the issue here is *not* HIV, but other, now far more fearsome, diseases. There are now about 20 major drug resistant diseases going around, and unprotected anal sex would be a superb way of spreading many of them.

And because HIV dampens the immune system, I would not be surprised at seeing many clients of a homosexual bathhouse suddenly dropping dead a few days after their visit.
