According to radical activist and Weather Underground co-founder Bill Ayers, American leftists were duped by prevailing conservative narratives into believing that President Obama himself was a tried-and-true leftist, and not the “middle-of-the-road” politician he declares himself to be.
Speaking at a Washington, D.C., book store last Friday, Ayers explained that despite living near Obama in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood and crossing paths many times during their activism, he never viewed the future president as a dedicated “leftist” like himself.
The remarks came in response to a question about whether Ayers ever doubted Obama’s credentials as a true “progressive” or “man of the left.”
“He was a community organizer, to his great credit,” Ayers told the crowd, “but all through the 2008 campaign Barack Obama said, whenever asked, he would say, ‘I am a moderate, compromising, pragmatic, middle-of-the-road, politician.’”

The right-wing looked at him, and said, “No, he’s a secret socialist, palling around with terrorists and Palestinians; he has a fiery black nationalist minister; he’s probably a black nationalist on top of everything else.” And the left wing looked at him and said, “He’s winking in our direction, I feel it.”

Wait just a minute. Ayres said their paths crossed many times. I thought that Obama said Ayres was just a guy in the neighborhood and that they hardly knew each other. I wonder if their paths crossed while they were in NYC and Obama was a student in Columbia.

Ayers is miffed that someone else is getting the reputation of being the effective communist he always dreamed himself to be. After all Ayers’ dedication and perceived work, it is this upstart darkie getting the credit for actually Making the Revolution.
That was my thought. Ayers is only pissed off because the blood letting hasn’t begun in earnest yet. He has always dreamt of sending white, middle class Americans to the ovens and he’s sooooo, soooo close, he’s getting a little impatient.
Leftist intellectuals love to drag us into this game -- "oh no, my poor benighted friend, so-and-so is not a socialist, which you would know if you read X, Y or Z. A socialist believes such and which, which you're obviously too ignorant to understand, so why should anybody listen to you?"
I say rubbish. The difference between a socialist, a liberal, a communist, a fascist, or whatever-ist is like the difference between horse manure, cow manure and dog poop. They're all slightly different flavors of the the same totalitarian leftist BS.
I don't play this game anymore. There are only people who believe in liberty and limited government, and those who believe in central planning backed by brute force.
And they all should be confronted by Milton Friedman's famous question to Phil Donahue: "Just where are you going to find these angels who are going to organize our society for us?"

One suspects that domestic terrorist Ayers is trying to throw the curious off the trail of a true bff friendship, and one further suspects that it sustains today.
Well Bill, he walks like a socialist, he talks like a leftist, and he act like an incompetence yet vindictive socialist incapable of taking responsibility for his own actions.
This is why in all this time Obama has still not learned to become a good executive. Obama has just learned to break the rules by issuing legislative edicts.
We could wast our time and remind deaf & obstinate ears that this is the man they elected with no executive experience prior to entering office. While hypocritically attacking sitting and successful Governors on the same charge, and get a good laugh at the fools trying to defend their actions.
But many if not most of theses people are going to have to wake up to their own race based blindness anyway as reality kicks them in the seat of their pants. They can be like Obama and vindictively blame everyone in the world but he who has the power or they can learn from their experience and improve themselves.
The dirty little truth that most Obama supporters are going to have to face is the fact of their ignorance, the dishonest of their information sources, and the willful race based self-deception that they were taught in school.
Like it or not at least among my generation, black people are uplifted and people try to overlook their failings because their black and to do otherwise risk dreaded charges of racism. This is a form of cuturaly indoctrinated ‘affirmative action’ that we were taught in school.
This is something we must overcome because Affirmative action is in itself a gross form of RACISM by both in letter and spirit. Anyone who practice this it in their judgement are by definition racist even if they do so out of anti-racist sentiment.
A lot of Obama supporters need to confute this evil in themselves if our country is to recover while Obama is in office.

Don't think for one minute that Ayers and the gang are not concerned about the recent turn against Obama.
And, if they weren't all sociopaths they would be even more visibly upset.
