(CNN) -- A recent search of the home of George Zimmerman's girlfriend uncovered five weapons, including an AR-15, and more than 100 rounds of ammunition, court documents filed Monday show.
Zimmerman, acquitted in the death of Trayvon Martin this year, was arrested last week at the home, which he shares with his girlfriend, on suspicion of his having pointed a shotgun at her.
He was released on bail and has entered a plea of not guilty.
A search of the home turned up three handguns, a 12-gauge shotgun, a rifle and 106 rounds of ammunition, including two AR-15 magazines, according to a search warrant.
Three handgun holsters, a pack of gum, a religious pendant, a flashlight, a pocket knife, sanitizing wipe, a soft-sided gun case and a combination lock were also recovered during the search.
At the time of his arrest, Zimmerman had two cell phones. An affidavit, filed Monday, says he told authorities he recorded the altercation with his girlfriend on his cell phone.

Ping-a-ling!
The problem has been the focus on irrelevant arguments some of which are actually unsupported by the evidence.
1. George Zimmerman (GZ) racially profiled Trayvon Martin (TM) There is no evidence of this.
2. GZ disobeyed an order by the police * The civilian dispatcher, Sean Noffke, testified that he did not give GZ an order and, in fact, he, like his fellow dispatchers, are trained not make comments that sound like commands. * Noffke also testified under cross that, as a result of his asking GZ which way TM was going, GZ could have reasonably interpreted this as being asked to follow Martin. * It is also not a crime in Florida to disregard a comment made by a civilian dispatcher.
3. GZ got out of his car Not a crime on public property and not negligent either.
4. GZ followed TM Again, anyone can follow anyone on a public street unless the followee has obtained a restraining order against the follower and even there, the RS only places time, place, and manner restrictions on the person enjoined.
5. GZ wasnt really injured * Under Floridas self-defense laws, one doesnt have to be injured AT ALL to use deadly force * No one is required to refrain from defending himself while another is engaged in or attempting to commit a felony.
6. TM is dead through no fault of his own * If you believe that TM assaulted GZ, then he IS dead as a result of his own actions.
7. GZ could have left * Under Florida law, there is not a duty to withdraw rather than use deadly force * TM was straddling GZ so how the latter was supposed to leave the scene is unanswered.
8. GZ was armed and TM wasnt * Ones fists can be considered weapons and can result in severe bodily harm or death. * GZ was legally carrying a weapon * There is no requirement under the law that the same weapon be used by the assailant * A homeowner can kill an intruder whether or not he has been threatened * Those that attack cannot feign surprise if they are met with superior firepower.
9. Stand Your Ground! * SYG is NOT at issue in this trial. * The defense is a classic self-defense case.
10. Black men NEVER get to use SYG! * Wrong http://tinyurl.com/nboht35
11. GZ is a man and TM was a boy! * As if boys dont commit murder, rape, and assault everyday in this country.
Three handgun holsters, a pack of gum, a religious pendant, a flashlight, a pocket knife, sanitizing wipe, a soft-sided gun case and a combination lock were also recovered during the search.
what? that was just the Go Bag, right?
George Zimmerman drops public defender, asks for return of knife & phones
Zimmerman to be represented by Jayne Weintraub, a south-Florida lawyer and legal commentator.
By Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel

Less than a week after he requested to be declared indigent, citing millions in debts, George Zimmerman swapped his public defender in his domestic violence case for a private attorney, his former lawyer confirmed.
Zimmerman was represented by the 18th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office during a court appearance on Tuesday, the day after his domestic violence arrest. He was granted $9,000 bail and bonded out that day.
However, Zimmerman has now elected to drop the Public Defender’s Office and hire a south Florida private criminal defense attorney, Jayne Weintraub, to represent him, said his former public defender, Jeff Dowdy.
Meanwhile, in a new motion, Zimmerman asks for the return of several items seized by police which he says are “not related to the [domestic violence] charges in any way and are not considered evidence” in the case.
Those items: an Apple iPhone, a Blackberry cell phone, a small hand-held flashlight and a pocket knife. The motion was filed by a colleague of Dowdy’s, apparently before Zimmerman switched to the private lawyer.
Dowdy also entered a written not-guilty plea on Zimmerman’s behalf, and waived his appearance at an arraignment scheduled for January. Zimmerman faces aggravated assault with a weapon and two other charges.
Zimmerman, 30, was arrested a week ago, accused of pointing a shotgun at his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, smashing a glass table, forcing her from her home and barricading himself inside during a domestic dispute.
It’s unclear how Zimmerman will afford private representation. In indigence paperwork last week, Zimmerman claimed to have $144, and owe $2.5 million in debt. Weintraub didn’t return a call seeking comment.
Weintraub has appeared on the cable networks HLN and CNN as a legal commentator, including commentary on Zimmerman’s high-profile murder case in the 2012 killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford.
Zimmerman said he fired on the unarmed Miami Gardens teen in self-defense. The case sparked widespread protest when Zimmerman wasn’t initially arrested, and again after his jury’s not guilty verdict in July.

“search of the home of George Zimmerman’s girlfriend uncovered five weapons”
Lightweight. (baseball bats and knives are weapons, right?)
Just over 100 rds of ammunition?!!!
Wow. That’s pathetic.
10K rds is a more comfortable number.
The authorities and the press sure work hand in hand to make gun owners look as vile as they can.
He has more than one gun in his collection. Simply amazing! Stop the presses, tell the captain...
Folks, it’s theater of the absurd.
WTF is the significance of this?!!
1.) 100 rounds of ammo. OMG a stockpile, I tell ya.
2.) George needs to get out of Florida and change his name.
3.) George needs to find a better class of GF.
— He cannot possess weapons.
— He must wear a monitoring device.
— He cannot travel outside Florida.
That is the first I have heard of this BS.
It was Blackjack gum.
That was the proctology report.
I see...
Now that is a gum of a different flavor!!
Zimmerman needs to just go dark for a while.
This guy keeps making bad decisions with the company he keeps.
106 rounds is nothing. Maybe a trip to the range for one person and one weapon. As for the shotgun... That’s not even a weapon, right? I mean, according to good old uncle Joe B. a shotgun is best employed as a simple noise maker. :-/
106 rounds of ammunition? Seriously?
I suppose charges could be in order for keeping his firearms underfed ...
“a pack of gum, a religious pendant, a flashlight, a pocket knife, sanitizing wipe, a soft-sided gun case and a combination lock
WTF is the significance of this?!!”
One of the “Flat Foot” Class likes that flavor gum?
Holy Crap, possession of Two Cell Phones! Now he’s really toast...
“a pack of gum”
LMAO
NUTS!
