Back in the USSR: ‘We must accept that we, the press, have been enablers’

President Obama’s lapdog media has finally realized that they are back in the USSR, so if you are curious about what is really going on in “Soviet” Obama’s White House then keep reading.

Apparently the board of the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) has had enough of Obama’s own personal White House media stomping all over them, keeping WHCA members from photographing what goes on in the White House and releasing only what Team Obama wants YOU to see.

Here is a glimpse of the WHCA revolt that took place on October 29 as reported in the National Journal by Ron Founier in a piece headlined:

Obama’s Image Machine: Monopolistic Propaganda Funded by You

New York Times photographer Doug Mills strode into Jay Carney’s office Oct. 29 with a pile of pictures taken exclusively by President Obama’s official photographer at events the White House press corps was forbidden to cover. “This one,” Mills said, sliding one picture after another off his stack and onto the press secretary’s desk. “This one, too – and this one and this one and … .”

The red-faced photographer, joined by colleagues on the White House Correspondents’ Association board, finished his 10-minute presentation with a flourish that made Carney, a former Moscow correspondent for Time, wince.

“You guys,” Mills said, “are just like Tass.”

A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step forward... it’s a step.

Yep. They were merry enough when they were dancing with the devil, it was just a big funny FU to the American people, now they can pay the piper. He owns them.

More propaganda. Believe us please. The press and the media are dead. There is only the government as much as the soviets controlled it in USSR.

The media were a lost cause 50 years ago when they were pushing their Camelot “Kennedys-as-royal-family” crap.

On Thursday, the presidents of the American Society of News Editors and the Associated Press Media Editors sent a letter to their members urging them to stop using handout photos and video from the White House.

“We must accept that we, the press, have been enablers,” the letter says. “We urge those of you in news organizations to immediately refrain from publishing any of the photographs or videos released by the White House, just as you would refuse to run verbatim a press release from them.”

This is a whole lot more than 'one step forward'... it's almost an awakening.

Five years too late.
The media have utterly failed their role as watchdogs.
They are supposed to be critical and suspicious of government, no matter which party is in charge.
Instead we saw a bias so blatant it should have been obvious to anyone.

Media, if you want earn back my trust, here's the deal:
Report the news. All of it. No spin, no omissions.
Investigate and expose ALL the government fraud and overreach.
(Less celebrity fluff would be nice too but I know I can't have everything.)

The retards in the media are participating in their own demise.
They openly campaigned for a control freak Marxist who WILL stomp all over the first amendment while proclaiming freedom of the press.

Sucks to be them.

I think the old entities are too compromised by evil now to regain anything like sanity of their own will. It’s like the avalanche has begun and as someone quipped in their tagline, the pebbles don’t get a vote now.

I am busy on this site (and I think I’m just about the only one doing it, to my knowledge) trying to preach the worldview of Ephesians 6. Sometimes I get sore at people who don’t get the clue, and bite their heads off, and that’s wrong of me. But better I do it clumsily than not at all, I think.

We have to get serious about God here. Then we need to get serious about Satan. God first, because He is the power and light we need. Then we can concentrate on fighting the devil, and a weird war it is because we fight the devil with goodness and with light. We cannot use conventional weapons of destruction to beat the devil. Those are, at best, only good against earthly agents, and make sense when the battle lines are relatively clear. But they are getting foggier and foggier now.

If they want to change their ways, maybe they could investigate the Dumbo’s birth certificate and college records.

That would be a start and then they could start updating all the news that they have missed for six years and talking about the abuses of executive power and all the other scandals

I wouldn’t hold my breath for that to happen.
Journalists are some of the most brain dead people walking the earth.
They will be happily singing praises to Obama while being marched off the Obama re education camps. All while blaming Bush for their starvation.

No. It’s called permission. Obama’s work is almost done and there’s no need to support him anymore.

And that while the whole lot of the male line were a bunch of whorehounds and drunkards. At least Ted Roosevelt seems to have been what he presented himself as, even if his daughter Alice was the American democratic “princess”.

I guess it’s too much to hope for that the White House Press Corps would stage a one-day work stoppage, then use the day to explain to the American people through the media they control how dictatorial the White House has become.

For one brief shining moment the public would hear the truth rather than Obama propaganda, and White House reporters would actually become journalists enlightening the public rather than purveyors of Obama-produced deceit.

If the reporters stuck together, how could the White House retaliate? If it ordered the IRS to audit the reporters’ tax returns, that would become the biggest story of the decade, with Obama the villain.

These dolts are still probably too stupid and ignorant of history to know that if obastard get the power he craves, they will be some of the first put against the wall and shot (literally). But some awareness on their part, let alone vocalizing it, is surprising.
