Don't forget those three American holidays: Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and.....gingerbread house.

There are 3 different Christian stamps for Christmas: Virgin and Child by Jan Gossaert, Holy Family, and Madonna of the Candelabra by Raphael.

The USPS has issued about 4 unique Kwanzaa stamps. Some of these were reissued too at new prices

My favorite comment on Twitchy. LOL

“Good then the USPS won’t mind working on “Gingerbread House” since it’s not a holiday.”

There is no Holy Family. Only Jesus is Holy. Her name was Mary and she is as mortal as anyone.

Any stamps for non-Catholics?

What’s kind of lame though is only the religious images say “Christmas” on them. Not even the Santa stamps say “Christmas” on them. Gee, last I checked, Santa was synonymous with “Christmas.”

Unfortunately for the inter-religious crowd, Chanukkah is about a month too early this year. Not to worry, though. Ignoramuses will let it pass without comment and then suddenly at the end of December start adding “Happy Chanukkah!” to all their other holiday greetings to show how tolerant and multicultural they are. Idiots.

So the point remains: why have a flier with Hanukkah and Kwanzaa stamps prominently named as such while omitting a named Christmas stamp?

Must be because the USPS is so flush with cash, it can afford to thumb its nose at the untold millions of citizens who celebrate Christmas.

I started collecting the Madonna and Child stamps around 1960.

No Christmas stamp this year?

I went to the website (holidaystamps.usps.com, which redirects). There are "Holy Family (2013 Issue)," "Virgin & Child by Jan Gossaert," and "Madonna of the Candelabra by Raphael," if you want one that depicts Jesus. There are more generically Christmas-ish-in-a-way ones, like "Santa and Sleigh" or "Poinsettia."

There are Christmas stamps, yes. And this is the flier the USPS sent out; I got one in the mail today. So tell me why the USPS has two stamps emblazoned with the words Hanukkah and Kwanzaa while conspicuously omitting a stamp with the name of the only federal holiday in December, which, coincidentally, is the source of a ton of income for the USPS. More income, assuredly, than all other December holidays combined.

Reparations for Christmas Privilege.

As a stamp collector for over 60 years, I can say that Christmas stamps have been some of the best stamps ever produced by the USPS.

They have included classical paintings/art, Santa and general holiday themes, and just good cheer. The classical art stamps verge on exquisite, esp. those from the 1960s on upward.

Santa, reindeer, decorations and decorated houses, etc. are very nice and liked by all.

For Chanukkah, a menorah is the traditional item, and is well done by the stamp designers.

For Kwanzaa, a made-up holiday for black racists by a black killer/racist/fraud, the stamps have the wrong image. It is supposed to be a “QuonsetHut”. Would go well in a Triptych with “PizzaHut” and “JabbaTheHut”.

Even Laz would buy a few of those.

So why do all the stamps this year have "USA Forever" with "Forever" crossed-out?

Are they trying to tell us something?
