As a stamp collector for over 60 years, I can say that Christmas stamps have been some of the best stamps ever produced by the USPS.

They have included classical paintings/art, Santa and general holiday themes, and just good cheer. The classical art stamps verge on exquisite, esp. those from the 1960s on upward.

Santa, reindeer, decorations and decorated houses, etc. are very nice and liked by all.

For Chanukkah, a menorah is the traditional item, and is well done by the stamp designers.

For Kwanzaa, a made-up holiday for black racists by a black killer/racist/fraud, the stamps have the wrong image. It is supposed to be a “QuonsetHut”. Would go well in a Triptych with “PizzaHut” and “JabbaTheHut”.

Even Laz would buy a few of those.

We have large collection of early world Christmas stamps that I acquired for my wife. In the first half of the 20th century Christmas stamps were not that common. Collected Christmas Seals as well and have every issue from 1907 and full sheets from around 1929 to the 1970s. Fun stuff!
