A new and independent analysis of ObamaCare warns of a ticking time bomb, predicting a second wave of 50 million to 100 million insurance policy cancellations next fall -- right before the mid-term elections.
The next round of cancellations and premium hikes is expected to hit employees, particularly of small businesses. While the administration has tried to downplay the cancellation notices hitting policyholders on the individual market by noting they represent a relatively small fraction of the population, the swath of people who will be affected by the shake-up in employer-sponsored coverage will be much broader.
An analysis by the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank, shows the administration anticipates half to two-thirds of small businesses would have policies canceled or be compelled to send workers onto the ObamaCare exchanges. They predict up to 100 million small and large business policies could be cancelled next year.

We have an avalanche in progress here. Playing around with the pebbles won’t change the end result much.
The end result is single payer after, as they will say it “the private marketplace has failed”
I’m sure that is what liberals hope.
But if conservatives actually DO have a back bone, not just a wish bone, they can take advantage of the chaos too!
Get a consortium going... a private one, NOT beholden to government... to work out how things will go post-apocalypse.
We could end up with something BETTER than the old health care plan system which tended to commoditize this blessing.
Systems where health care plans are tied closely to particular doctors and clinics have worked pretty well. The HMO is one way, but there are also single-clinic versions of it that have been reported to work surprisingly well. You pay the doctor a monthly rate and you get anything that can be seen in his office, seen.
Once again I simply can’t understand who these people think they could get away with it. They’re not stupid. Do they really believe most of the people are willing to sacrifice everything for their king? Hey, maybe they’re right.
He looks like a cadaver with open eyes...need to frame this pic and hang it on my wall...this is the way I’d like to see him in real life.
What postponement? The law is the law. If I were an employee of a company employing more than 50 people but was not offering insurance, I would sue them for violating the employer mandate of Obamacare. Any judge worth his weight in salt would rule in my favor because the law specifically states that employers employing over 50 workers must provide access to a group plan beginning on January 1, 2014.
It can't be fixed. It must be torn down to the very foundation. As for Landrieu's bill, Republicans should call it out for exactly what it is - pure unadulterated fascism. It is no different than what Maduro is doing in Venezuela right now with retail stores.
This is the part that gets me. Any time someone comes up to share their discovery about something bad about ObamaCare, I tell them, "Yes, I know. I told you this 3½ years ago." And if they happen to be a Democrat, I ask them politely not to complain to me about it since they are getting exactly what they voted for, while reminding them that they were told each and every detail of this BEFORE they cast their 2012 vote.
Maybe we should off shore health care insurance to the ChiComs.
We should definitely outsource our entire penal system to Russia. They have all those empty gulags that could be put to profitable use. I bet they would do it at half the cost we are spending right now.
I don’t believe the dims would be stupid enough to let a couple of hundred million insurance plans get cancelled just before the 2014 election unless they already had a plan in place to steal it or let owebama declare martial law over some looming secret event and cancel elections for the duration. But I could be wrong - maybe in their lust for total and complete domination over their “subjects” they really are this stupid.
LOL. This is the Obama administration. They don't believe in the Rule of Law. They selectively enforce the laws and create their own thru EO's. Obama has already delayed the employer mandate for a year. He has "advised" the insurance companies to break the law by allowing people to retain their old plans for a year, plans that violate the law.
Obama has authored a backdoor amnesty for Dreamers including issuing them SSNs and work permits. The EPA is out of control. I could go on and on. The law means nothing to Obama and the GOP is letting him get away with it. He should be impeached.
This is why the king delayed the employer mandate. I simply don’t understand why republicans can’t figure out a set of talking points and repeat them ad nauseum.
