(CNN) - Jessica Sanford, the Washington State woman cited by President Barack Obama as an Obamacare success story, received more bad news Tuesday. Officials with the state's health exchange checked on her case and said she will not qualify for assistance in buying insurance.
Sanford had written the White House last month after purchasing what she thought was affordable health care coverage on the Washington state insurance exchange.
Part of her message was read by the President at a Rose Garden event at the a White House on October 21.

But in the days that followed that presidential shout-out, Sanford received letters from Washington state's insurance exchange, notifying her she did not qualify for a tax credit she was originally told she would be getting.
After looking into Sanford's matter, officials with the exchange admit they made a mistake calculating her benefits, along with those for thousands of other Washington state residents.

CNN. Scrubbed the part about there being TWO errors, both misstating subsidies, and about her undying devotion to Obama and Obamacare despite this.
I think the MSM is heavily reporting on it to get the ACA out there and change the Obamacare meme.

She has gotten at least one response so far, a public note from the Healthplanfinder staff on its Facebook page that says, “Jessica, we are very sad and disappointed that the tax credit miscalculation affected you so heavily.”
She says she wants to make it clear she has no beef with Obama and Obamacare. She still believes in the Affordable Care Act. “I don’t want this to be a political thing,” she says. “I don’t want to be bashing the president. I don’t want to be bashing the ACA. I don’t want to come across as saying that. I am a big Obama fan.
She just still believes the lies that the gov’t will take care of her with no need for a man around.
It’s a powerful fantasy that’s hard to crack through.

Obama is a surrogate husband-figure for these deluded single liberal women. Much like Hitler was a surrogate father-figure for young Germans recovering from the effects of losing WWI. Hitler played on those emotional attachments.

As a court reporter making $55,000/yr. she wasn’t and isn’t poor. Indeed, with a few more smarts than she seems to have, she could have incorporated her business as a LLC or subchapter S close corporation. Then it could have paid her a salary and benefits, including health benefits, the cost of which it could have deducted. Thus, she probably could have obtained a catastrophic policy for herself and her son at a very reasonable price. Instead, she chose to wait for MahdiCare, in the fond hope of sponging off us poor taxpayers. Too bad witch, I’m crying for you accompanied by the smallest of violins.
